If you want to hard reset your phone to factory. Just press *#7370# though, make sure you back up your phone memory and have adequate battery to run the operation completely. This should swipe your index of any stored data containing any problem files. You do not need to press anything else during the reset.

Are you sure "call button (green) + 3 + *" means 'hard resetting the phone'?
I need to know this! And for how long should I keep them pressed? Then, after how many seconds should I press the power button?
And how the hell should I DO that? it must be really hard to do it, since you have to keep those three buttons pressed...

Hope to hear from you soon :)
          Bye!

backup ur phone memory onto the memory card.backup all ur contacts and msgs through pc suite.then try hard formatting ur phone (!!!!!!..by doing so,u will loose all contacts, msgs, calender entry,it would be like a new phone)

once every thing is backed up,switch off ur phone.then, press the 'call' button and the number '3' button and the '*'.....keep ur fingers on all these buttons and dont let go.while doing this, turn on ur phone with the fingers still on those buttons until the phone really boots up.it will prompt for u to enter ur country, time date bla bla..it should work,if this doesnt work, then u can try upgrading the firmware..if that doesnt work either, then it must be the hardware thats causing the problem..

I have both as well. The w960 started to slow up after I had 6g's of songs on it and I had to delete half my music content to speed up again. The n95 kept going strong even with 7 of the 8g's used. Both have issues, and this is just my opinion since

Niki, 30 Jul 2008Thanks in advance for your Honest & Serious answers: Need t... moreActually the N95 8GB battery is bigger (both physically and in charge amount)- that's why they had to remove the camera lens-cover switch. Also, the new firmware is optimised, and some of the hardware was reworked to draw less power. That's obvious in the way it's a more advanced phone and yet uses 3 to 4 times less power than the normal N95.

Thanks in advance for your Honest & Serious answers: Need to decided between n95-3(usa version) and n95 8gb(n95-4 usa version).

1)Wat else other differences besides big screen & micro sd card???

2)Is n95-3 us version built-quality improved one from orginal n95-1??? Especially sliding mechanism??

3)Both share same battery (1200 mah). Just wondering why nokia 95 8gb has longer batter life than n95-3. It should have been other way round coz 8gb one has bigger screen & consumes more battery.

Its matter of $500 plus, so i am doing little research on these 2 to decide which one to buy. In fact, I really love n95-3 us version (small screen dont bother me). Thanks again.

Just like any other Series 60 phone. Note: The N95 8GB has Symbian OS v9.2, S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1.

If the N95 8GB would not support any 3rd party applications, it probably wouldn't be worth it's retail price tag.
