Have owned this phone for a week now. Overall it's a really good multi media phone. Not the nicest phone in the world to look at. The screen is amazing, watching videos that you have recorded on it, or looking at photos is excellent!
GPS is brilliant. The nokia maps are ok, but I bought copilot and it is faaarrrrr better! Keep the phone open, ie when you can see the keypad if you want to use sat nav, picks up signal a lot easier.
Enjoy!

Hi there,
I got this phone for about 1 month and my overall opinion is that this phone is just great.
WHAT I LIKE MUCH:
Great picture quality using Carl Zeiss optics, easy synchronization with pc via pc suite. great GPS function - locks within 20 seconds. GPS also functions with Google Map. Lot of RAM and phone memory - I can work with a lot of programs open. For example, I browse while enjoying music. I successfully used 3rd party browser like Opera Mini. ngage games functionality is also fine. The sound quality is also great, particularly with headphones and I could edit song tags, album art etc. from inside the phone.
WHAT I DONT LIKE:
Sometimes, particularly when multitasking, this phone hangs and I need a restart. The FM radio cant be heard clearly using built-in speakers. Office applications lack editing functions. Battery life requires a little more to be improved (particularly for browsing, GPS functions) - I keep my charger for staying safe side. No memory card slot. No camera lens protector - so I take care of the camera lens - keeping the phone in a leather case. Also the flash I wish this phone had that of N82. Why all ngage games are demo - at least one should have been full version. I also had to download install the ngage software.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I wish Nokia had added a slide-openable QWERTY keyboard to this phone, cant nokia provide editable office apps? Keep a memory card slot despite huge internal memory - like the N96. Improvement of camera flash.
After all, I like this phone and despite minor shortcomings, this phone is great [at least to me :-) ].

pab, 04 Jul 2008what is the difference between the nam version and the int'... moreNAM stands for North American Market or (Model)
International version of the Nseries. For example, if I buy an unlocked N95 8Gb in Europe, and come back to the United States. Some features I cannot access. And vice versa. Or better yet will be charged for roaming OMG!!!!! But on Aug 2nd 2008. When a customer purchases 2 our N95 8Gb from my website, and sends one over seas to a family member. They will be able to communicate for only $24.95 a month unlimited. Because its. Globalinx to Globalinx user. Also video share will be active on launch date or soon after. We also have the home video phone. So when I'm out and around town on my N81 8GB or N95 8GB. I will be able to call and see the person I'm talking to at home with their video phone, and vice versa. I'm so excited I can't sleep very well. I'm so blessed to be with a company that's making history.

I can't wait to get my hands on our new cells in a few more weeks. I'm tired of waiting till 7:00 pm to make free calls at my house. Sigh, i need to talk ppl. On Aug 2 I will be able to talk for free then. Watch out Metro PCS in Atlanta, GA. Hundreds of ur customers have called me waiting on Aug 2 to cancel contracts with yall!!!!!!!! Especially the Africans, because they have family in Africa and they spend up to $200 a week in calling cards to call their family in Senagal. To much $$$$$$ Metro PCS. Its to late now!!!!!!! 5linx/Globalinx is here to stay since 2001. We moving faster and faster with Tecnology Keeping up. Oh by the way as a Executive with 5 linx I get paid for being my own customer do u get paid for using ur own service????? Hmmmm call ur company u have service with and ask them. Anonymous, 04 Jul 2008damn thats expensive, 24.95 to make voip calls, its only 10... moreplease count on 1 hand how many cell phone companies here in the U.S.A. In the store. That u can purchase, that u can make free calls over a wi-fi signal???? Ummm let me count for u only 1... Tmobile @ home hotspot, & both of their phones are garbage with fees and fees added with it. I have the iPhone with /wi-fi, and all I can do with my wifi is get online for free. I cannot make a free call over my wi-fi signal... Let me repeat that. I simply cannot make a free call over my wifi signal on my iPhone period.... But on August 2nd 2008 millions will, with the HTC Tilt.... N81 8GB... N95 8GB. No other company here does that. Thank you. We simply can't be stopped. We Are in the news, INC 500 magazine for the 3rd year now. Facts after facts to many to mention. Oh, by the way that tmobie @ home hotspot does not have international user to user for free. We do Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!
