I know this fone is intuitive.... But, if it had a touchscreen it would have been loads better.

Yes you can set specific tones for users in groups. You have to open the Phonebook, and when you see a list of your contacts, just press the right button and group properties will open, there you can arrange everything.

how many seconds do it take before you can take another picture?
why is that my friend's N95 is lagging.. like when i open the message inbox, it takes 3-5 seconds before it opens.. and also when i took a shot, it takes 10 seconds before you can have the option on what to do (delete the pic, edit it, etc...)
any solution on this?
it has 6GB free memory and its like brandnew (2 weeks old).. we checked the firmware version and it is updated...
anu suggestions? thanks guys

8gb memory is not a ***HARD DRIVE*** its ****FLASH MEMORY*** like a memory card... hope this helps

Hello people, i just need ask this question before buy N95..I heard very soon Nokia will start sell N96, and i saw online it was more nice, but i wanted ask you guys if you have some information about this new phone..I mean if N96 will be same as n95, so i will buy today N95..Let me know please

Your 8g memory wont be deleted if you format your phone. Its a harddisk in your phone, how will it be deleted.
Bro, it will be wise to choose n95 8g than 6610.
This phone will not be lagging if you open your message inbox.
The batery life is good and can last up to 2 to 3 day for a medium user..
However guys, you are lucky to own this best phone.. I gonna sell it tomorrow and this is my last day on this phone, i am gonna trade in with a sport rim for my cars. It much more important too me.. Meanwhile i will be using a tv mobile hp as a sub to this great phone. Thank u u all. Gud luck and keep upgrading.

i have been usin dis phone for 5 mnths n havent xperienced ne problem ....i wud asvise u to upgrade ur firmware .....also whenu use ur gps first time it takes qiute a lot time to lock up after dat it locks on fast....enable assisted gps option ...my gps locks down in 20 secs...also keep ur slider open when using gps

does N95 lags whenever you open MESSAGES? its my worry.. maybe its the same like 6600.. it lags all the time.. pls make me clear on this..

Got my N958Gb cpl of weeks back. great phone i must say. However, i tried the GPS once and it took ages to get a satellite lock(imho, gps on N95-8G sucks), but after i activated gprs on the phone, now when i click on Maps or GPS data, the phone resets. I tried to reset to factory settings without any success. Thot i will sound this forum before i try a reformat or take it to the service centre. Any suggestions ? also, is there any way to export gps data from the phone to pc ? funny that the user manual has no mention of the GPS function !!!

Nokia N95 8GB is simply the best phone I have ever seen.The 5MP camera makes the pictures more alive.It supports almost all types of applications and musical formats.If you don't have a N95,just buy it right now.Really,you need it!

n95-1 is much higher in sounds.. camera peformance is equal only advantage of n95-1 is the camera lens cover..but the battery life is poor.. unlike n95-2 it has higher battery life and also the memory of n95-2 is much better..
also the sliding mechanism of n95-2 is better then n95-1.. it is much smoother..

hi,which has a higher Sound (n95) or (n95 8g),and Which has a better camera ,and in your opininion which is better over all between these two twins,please.
