      'EDGE' 'HSDPA' and 'HSCSD':

      They are all data bearers that allow internet access.
      the use of these data bearers can be recommended for the transfer of large files of information.

          A touch screen mobile should be a folding mobile for it's safety. Also folding mobile is more smart and beauty. Various beautiful design can be make with folding base. Nokia could made the 2.8 inch display with a larger display size than 240x320. And they should increase it soon. To nokia my request is please don't forget to make your maximum hi-fi models folding. Thank you.

                To GSMArena Admin/Moderator,

                Again, my response to "pied piper" regarding his inquiry was stricken out from this post!

                *********************************************

                I know this was previously a touchy subject but i really want to debrand now, vodafone branding restricts a lot of things on an otherwise brilliant phone.
                The only problem i have is if i lose the liscence to the GPS. How do i get it back and is this a problem.
                Thanks very much.

                pied piper

                *********************************************

                All I'm trying to imply here that DEBRANDING is not illegal at all provided that debranding process will be performed by the Network Service Provider.

                This is the case where one of buddies NICK LAW in London, UK was offered by VOdafone of debranding his unit for £ 20.00 yet retain his program license.

                Is there any VIOLATION here I have committed?

                      @pied piper,

                      You're going to need a Theme editor to be able to change the appearance of your folder.

                      S60 Theme Studio (Symbian) carbide.ui 3.1.1 http://series-60-theme-studio.en.softonic.com/symbian#Compatible_series

                      Latest version carbide ui. 3.2 http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/5ef13cf3-96a1-4914-a1d4-6eb1d47e8e65/Carbide_ui_Theme_32_Setup.exe.html .

                      Good luck!

                        on my phone i have nokia maps, google maps and gmaps.
                        I want to group them together in the main menu. It seems the only way to do this is to make a new folder. This is fine but the folder has only a default picture. Is there anyway to customise new folder pictures in the main menu.

                                      @cij_egiec81,

                                      Mate, there are actually 12 Steps on HOW TO SIGN AN APPLICATION http://www.gosymbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=757 .

                                      Further, it can be reduce to 5 Steps upon getting your Certificate at Symbian Signed. Your Certifcate is based on your IMEI and it can be used to sign other unsigned applications.

                                      First & foremost, you must register at Symbian Signed pageto be able to log in https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/ .

                                      I'm afraid I haven't got your IMEI yet.

                                      Cheer buddy :-)

                                        @Paul,

                                        'EDGE' 'HSDPA' and 'HSCSD' are all pointing to data transmission of our Network Service providers can offer. These are the features of our Network Telecom can support data.

                                        EDGE - also known Enhanced GPRS classified as 2.5G use in internet connection and in MMS

                                        HSDPA - known as UMTS classified as 3G...use in video call

                                        HSCDA - another enhancement which offers 4 times faster than GSM
