    @william_mah,

    Mate, this updating of firmware is completely Great News! Now it comes with version 15.0.0! I'm just wondering if it's 100% BUG FREE! I think I'll stick around with version 10.0.0 until the release of Final version! Anyway, thanks for the info buddy!

      @Question,

      Mate, go to your Menu/Tools/Connectivity/GPS data...from here it will search for GPS satellites and calculate a data (takes about 30 secs to 1 minute). Then in the Position you will get your bearing LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, ALTITUDE and even your SPEED as you walk! Again establishing link signal with GPS is FREE!

      For Mapping, you're going to need a GPRS connection or wifi which is not totally free! Refer to your Network provider for the charge!

              @Question,

              Navigation would mean MAP READING. This is where the Google Maps comes in. Travelling from point to another would required GPS as long as you have atleast 3 satellite signals!

              OK...to make thing simple! Travelling from one place to another you're going to need a Map. But tracking your position and location would require GPS.

              When using Google Map, you will notice at the upper right portion of the screen the status of your satellite and you will see a small blue blinking dot (this is your position). As you travel you will see that the blinking dot moves in your direction navigating thru map.

                  Okay, lets put it this way. I wanna get from A to B. and I put that in the GPS. Will it show me how to get there (map)? and will it charge me for that?

                      @Question,

                      Mates F6va and daniel are right! Our built-in GPS receiver in our phone locates Satellites (atleast 3 to make the triangulation/tracking) and this satellites transmit microwave signals to our phone....NO Internet connection is required....it's totally FREE! For Navigation, this is where the GPRS and wifi comes in....and it's not Free at all! Unless your using your private wifi connection!

                              No, you don't have to pay. You can buy voice navigation software/program (this phone is a computer too) for which you'll have to pay after the trial periode has ended. But then again you can use a free navigation program. (No customer service though) Please visit PRODIGITS forum for more info on free voice navigation for the S60 operating system (N-series)

                                Hey everyone, I have a question for all of you who have this phone. When you use the GPS on this phone, do you have to pay for it? or how does the GPS works for this phone? Thanks in advance

                                  @yum,

                                  Mate, I haven't tried this MapMaking 2007 S60 yet. I think I'm going to skip on this until MapData for Manila is available. Though, this application looks promising to use for GPS. Thanks mate!
