@chief,
Mate, are you sure you're installing the SIGNED RotateMe? If you have the Unsigned one, forget it you will never get it installed!
GPRS - to test, send a simple MMS to your phone!
Wifi - go to your Menu/Tools/Connectivity/WLAN wiz

Might be a glitch with Google maps! By the way mate, what version of google maps you're using? mine version 2.0.3...it's works great with my GPS. Locating my position in proximity! Try to record your GPS data and compare them to your Atlas with coordinates! Good Luck!

Buddy, I'm gonna stick to the original firmware version 10 as long as I have no problem with my phone and unless deemed necessary. Upgrading doesn't give us 100% trouble FREE and sometimes doing this makes thing even worst!...just piece of an advise! Cheers!

Mate, I don't recall sending you signed RotateMe. I just got your email today Dec. 31, 2007. I was planning to send you one but after seeing your post...I'm a bot confused! Are sure about this buddy?
Anyway, regarding your constrained certificate, looks like your phone is on restriction. Let's try this...go to your Menu/Tools/Settings/General/Applications/App. manager/...set your Software installation to "ALL" and Online certificate check to "OFF"

to pied piper ,,,im using sandisk v-mate to record dvds or anything on tele or video to memory card
I download from memory card to comp and transfer that way to n95 8gb as this is first fone ive had without memory card slot..I tape just watever as the unit has remote control and acts as a video recorder too with timer etc,,

ITS a fantastic device if you can get one,,i got mine from mobymemory.com but i dont know if they hav any left but you can google it..It saves all that converstion on comp and all those hundreds of incompatible file formats and is a marvel really..Thats my input for getting video simply and in correct format onto any video player,,phone etc

hey dude look dont try to choose between N82 and N95 8gb,because they both are good and the features are almost identical.You wont regret after buying either of them.I have a N82 and i dont miss the biger and slightly brighter screen of N95 8gb and on the other hand one of my friend got N95 8gb and he is really happy with that.So buy either of these two and enjoy.Take care and good luck.

hello again. i have just been using google maps which is installed in my phone. the gps has locked onto 5 sattelites and, on nokia maps, it locates my position perfectly. But by using the my location tool on google maps, which i think uses to built in gps, it says im in germany, when in actual fact im in central england. can anyone help me out.

Yes mate, you can play video from your mobile phone web browser by going to m.vtap.com. and search for your video clips unlike in YouTube. Again, I preferred emTube since you don't have to visit the site anymore. Just use the search engine!
GPS search for location works fine as long as your GPS receiver established a position information from at least 3 satellites to calculate the coordinates of your location (this called triangulation). And with the aid of Navigational Maps like Google you will be able to see the proximity of your location. To check your GPS...go to Menu/Tools/Connectivity/GPS data and wait for GPS searching satellites ( takes about 20 secs). Upon establishing, you may now use your Google maps for navigation with satellite status at upper right corner.
I happen to have my World Atlas and was able to plot the coordinates of my location Pagsanjan, Laguna, Philippines base on the GPS position

Longit E 12.4528 degrees
Accuracy 13 m
Altitude 63 m
Alt acc 39 m
Speed 1.1 km/hr ( as walk a few steps)
