    @Sd0s,

    Mate, use the Help documentation in the Recording program. Manual may help you too! TIP: it's the best practice to record your voice in a quiet room. Avoid Noise Background, reverberation or echo and set your voice record volume to normal only! HAPPY RECORDING!

        @BabyB,

        To transfer your ringtones/message alert tones from your mobile to your computer:

        1. You need a 3rd party application to explore the system. In my case, I use FExplorer 1.16 Beta by Dominique Hugo http://www.gosymbian.com/FE_beta_download_3ed.html . Begin to explore your "Z" drive (ROM) -> z:\data\sounds\digital...you will find here all the ringtones/mssg alert tones in a file format of AAC & MID. Copy your selected ringtone and paste it to "E" drive (RAM - this is our internal memory) -> E:\documents. Exit the program then use your Nokia PC suite connected to your mobile either by bluetooth, infrared, or USB data cable. Select File Manager then search your E for the file then copy/paste to your computer. Play your file in your computer with your default program. For MID file usually plays with Windows Media Player while AAC file plays with Nokia Music Manager.

        Note: You may try other File or System explorer such as Yucca Y-browser http://www.drjukka.com/YBrowser.html as long as it has a copy/cut/paste features!

          Mate, in other words you would like to have a clean Standby Screen..right? go to your MENU/TOOLS/SETTINGS/GENERAL/PERSONALISATION/STANDBY MODE...then set your Active standby to OFF.

                                  @gino,

                                  with 100mb video file...sure it will take time! Try Xilisoft video converter but make sure the output video file is either MP4 or 3GP. After the conversion, again tranferring 100mb to your phone will take awhile...patience mate! Have a sip of hot Starbucks coffee! hahaha

                                      @Voodoo,

                                      Mate, Go to your nearest Nokia Care Center and have your unit firmware updated. It would only take 30 mins to an hour! If your IMEI and product code are in the Nokia Data Base then you have nothing to worry about!

                                      Cheers!
