Uhm I'm confused...i use my wireless at home but can't seem to use maps when I'm in my car and need directions! What do I do? Should I call my network provider? Also I can't get voice nav is it on the phone? Or do I have to download it from elsewhere? Also is it free? Silly questions I know...please help!

Other means of data connectivity are GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD, & 3G. These are Network Service Features! Consult your TelCom first. If all of these are available in your Network provider then go to your MENU/TOOLS/SETTINGS/PHONE/NETWORK....select your Network Mode to DUAL!

Hey N95 8 GB owners, I was looking this phone and it is really beautiful. It has great specs (best in the market right now) But, I won a K850i and to tell you the truth Im not happy with the picture quality and it is full of BUGS. All members on esato that own a K850i are waiting for a lousy firmware update to fix these BUGS. But I think the next one will not fix all of em and we will have to wait for another one. And thats pretty lame from SE. Im tired of it. So, what I need is :
N95 8 GB owners, please, tell me if this phone came with bugs from the factory???
If you need to wait for firmware updates????
If there is any known issue like this K850i (which has a lot of known issues waiting to be hopefully fixed, geez)
Any major BUG or any complain ?????
Not a complain from a single user or a couple of em I MEAN like K850i that almost every user have the flash sync issue and Operation Failed issue at installing games or any application. Thats a BUGGY phone.
So, please answer this querty and be sincere about it....

Im from Toronto Canada and Im just wondering if I use my nokia maps or the gps am i going to get any charge through my network?? which is rogers...

this is in this months pda essentials mag and says its almost impossible to run this fone out of ram,,it gave the fone 10/10 on one section and its very highly praised in the mag..

congratulation nokia, at last you improve your battery life!!!! y change my n95 to the n95 8G, and the battery improve a lot, almost three more time last than the n95 battery, i am very happy and i don t have any problems with the software, and its very beautifull too!!!!! great nokia, the best phone in the market!!!!!

Not sure about your problem playing movies! But sometimes memory drains as you play your video! Try using either MEDIUM or LOW quality video when converting. Though these are both mp4 format. Used your PC Suite then select Nokia Video Manager then go to the TOOLS tab.
Unlikely, but possible, too many video conversion processes would brought down the quality of the video! As much as possible DO ONE TIME CONVERSION only! DVD which has VOB format should be converted directly to MPEG4 (AAC video format) as MP4. This could be done with some known video Converter such as Xilisoft! For video requirements, pls go to your Nokia Video Manager Help documentation! Again make an experiment and do your own observation! Good luck mate!

I've just got my N95 8GB yesterday and still playing with the many features on it. By the way how can I get voice guided navigation? Are there any free downloads I can add to my phone? Will post a more detailed opinion by the end of the week x
