Just got mine in Phuket, Thailand. When writing text messages the T9 option does not take over to finish the words. Any thoughts from anybody??? Other than that I love it love it love it!!

Same here mate! My screen saver always goes in Landscape mode...no matter what I do! But just thesame...this doesn't bother me! Some said, latest firmware would probably rectify this issue! Again, NO CONFIRMATION yet!

Dude, just like you, Im not a very technical guy! I just love exploring my mobile phone and computer. By definition, Firmware http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firmware . From my understanding, it is a software/primary program interrelated to the hardware!

I got the same firmware 10.0.021. So far my baby rocks and I'm contented. As of today I have NO INTENTION of upgrading my firmware unless its necessary! I have read some Forum saying after upgrading...some of that..some this is Missing, the phone become like this...like that! Whooow! Dude, if you don't experience anything wrong with your unit...STAY WITH YOUR PRESENT FIRMWARE!

I do not go deeper with phone application or anything like that, so I have stupid question. What exactly is firmware what is the use for it. I only have my phone for only a week now, so I am still learning of what I could do and could not do on this phone. Please let me know.

This could be the most stupid question this year but is the 8gb a hard drive or flash memory ???Altho the n82 is wat iam waiting for but if the battery is not to good i may get this or put up with 2gb memory a buy another n73.Have sold my n95-1 6 weeks ago but things have changed since then but even with this new version 20 software i sold my n95 because of hte floppy lid too.

Has anyone updated the Nokia N95 8GB firmware to V 11.0.026? And is it recommended?
The version i got now is..

Hey, guys I don't know about you if I think that this N98 is fake. If y'all google N96, N97 & N98 you'll get some photoshopped cell phones. Supposedly, the N98 is going out on the mid of 2008. With :
-7.2 Megapixels, Carl Zeiss Lens, records video 720x576 in 30fps, GPS, Touchscreen, 3.5" screen size, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.
Even if you google N100 you get another fake, so I don't think these ones are true, maybe in the future they could be but nahh...lol

Thanks for the link. I get to see N98. According to their specification,it is much better thatn N95-2, but I would imagine that the price would be much, much higher than N95-2. N98 is very hi-tech. 8gig with card slot on top of that. What else can you ask for. It will be released on April 2008 so that means that itt would probably be for sale in US around Oct.2008. I can't wait. I want this phone.
