Recently I've read reports about this phone having a 8GB hard drive.
So my question is, does it have 8GB of flash or hard disk memory.

got mine today. best phone Ive ever had. Loud as loud can be. Easier than any nokia to use and navigate. And with Spiderman 3 which looks superb when plugged into the plasma.

How much time N95 8GB needs to open camera, lock on autofocus shoot a picture and save it into memory ? The old one needed 12 sec. which is toooo looooooong. Has it been improved in new n95 8GB?

Can anyone tell me if you can buy a different battery for this to make the battery life longer. Its a great phone but the battery life is shocking.
Had to K850i's before this and had to get rid of them both. Touchscreen is a common problem as it just breaks, and it deletes files for no apparent reason.

i have an iphone to but compere to my nokia N95 8Gb thats nothing really.
i have one more question Lee u have any idea about auto rotate software for nokia and where do i finde any software for my nokia like full screen caller?

Is N95 8gb's sound quality better than the Older Ordinary N95 or SAME???? What about the Clarratity of Sound also.

And How is its response to the commands, ie symbian installation speed,Application removal speed, and Theme preview speed.. and ofcourse of the gallery openinig speed and camera shutter speed......

Repenting to sell my N95 which i got for 800 $,by selling it for 400$. This 8GB is in tradition of its Manufacturers NOKIA full os bugs restarts and freezes as exact battery time improved by 10% cam takes 15 sec more to load big brick looks, esp themes as not sharp,flash ad night mode same result speakers not loud but soft.New updates within one week if started what was Nokia doing before could hav launched little late but proper R&D. Thats why the price has dropped 100$ now.U all stick to urs.

I can't wait! One of my mates is getting a N95-8GB this week or next week and im getting the normal N95 this coming weekend or sometime next week as well :-D the two kings of Multimedia Phones!! Hope i get mine in Sand colour!
They both look good, and when i playd with an N95 a couple of months ago it was great now its going to be MINE hehe

the lens is been removed so that theres a place for the hard drive of the phone (8gb)
the battery is been improved from 950mah to 1200 mah
the screen is much bigger by .2 inches from 2.6 to 2.8
when you slide down the phone the annoying multimedia interface is been removed
and the phone is wider ang thicker, about 0.2mm

No prob with mine so ar....cam OK after taking pics and the alarm works even if my phone is off.

I'm from the Philippines, so far the n95 8gb still hasn't reached our shores, I'm a previous user of n95 but i sold it already 3 months ago hoping and waiting that the 8gb version would be released soon, but about last week my phone supplier informed me that they will be having this amazing fone available by tomorrow! I've already reserved one and I'm just so thrilled and excited to get my hands on one!

Very good phone..Big screen. But it has some problems. Radio sound from loudspeaker is weak. When you take a photo the screen becomes black. Alarm doesn't work when you put off the phone.. Battery life better than n95 but not enough..Well, perhaps a new firmware appears soon.

i was mega happy when i saw you can get an application for the N95 8GB that alows it to auto rotate like the i-phone i was like fully cool hehe
