my comment to all people who give negative remarks about new launched phone models. if u yourself can't design, make, create or produce phones, pls use your brain not to critise as u yourself is not that smart even to know how much time is taken on a project.think before u do!!! learn civic before going to school.

Nokia N95 8GB: Stunning screen, massive memory

The Nokia N95, the world's greatest multimedia computer, just got greater. With all the key features of its predecessor, including a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in A-GPS, WLAN, HSDPA and an innovative 2-way slide, the Nokia N95 8GB now offers up to eight gigabytes of built-in memory. The N95 8GB also boasts a new luminous 2.8" QVGA display - one of the largest ever for a multimedia computer - so that watching videos, browsing the Internet or viewing maps is easy.

With its expanded memory, the N95 8GB offers up to 20 hours of video* or up to 6000 songs**. The N95 8GB multimedia computer is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2007 with an estimated retail price of EUR 560 before subsidies or taxes.

It is hard to say whether this new Nokia N95 8GB is worth the money.
Yes, it has an 8 gigabyte hard disk. However, you cannot add extra storage space unlike the normal N95. The normal N95 also uses solid state storage, which means longer lifetime than using hard disk which has mechanical parts, resulting in shorter lifetime (correct me if I am wrong here).
Yes, it has a new battery which has bigger capacity. However, the improvement of the battery capacity from 950 mah to 1200 mah may not make a big difference, so might as well get the normal N95. What's more is that because the new 1200 mah is bigger, Nokia has to remove the lens cover to make room for this new battery. For me though, the lens cover is unnecessary. You just have to be careful not to touch the lens and you have to clean the lens regularly to prevent dust from gathering.
The RAM is also doubled to 128 MB which is a good thing.
The display is upped from 2.6" to 2.8" but I do not think that it makes a difference at all.
The camera also needs an Optical Zoom, which is a great addition. Even if the Optical Zoom is 2x, I will be happy because there is at least some versatility. For example, if the scenery is too wide and for some reasons, you do not like it that way, you can zoom in.
If I really have to make a conclusion, I would conclude that this new N95 8GB has a little edge over the normal N95. That's what I think anyway. I would buy it over the normal N95.

                      Hello Friends
Moto Rockr can handle maximum of 7 applications at a time. Switching between the applications are faster as compared with Nokia's N95. N95 will hang if more than 4 applications is running and if u switches fast between the application and also if the application hangs the OS too hangs and you need to remove the battery to reboot.
Whereas in Moto Rockr E6, if the application doesn't respond, you can kill the application from the OS, no chance of hang or rebooting. Overall Moto Rockr is faster than N95.

                        Hello N95 Fans
I have used N95 before for 5 months. Only difference you can see in New 95 is 2.8inch display instead of 2.6inch, Battery is 1200mah instead of 950mah. 8Gb internal memory instead of 160Mb, No Micro SD Card slot, Weight 129gm compared to 120gm and 1mm length more. Symbian OS 9.2, S60 rel. 3.1 is same for both, so the software and application bugs will be same of old N95. Application manager crashes N95 OS several times, this is a major Issue. Keypad is a great disadvantage for N95, it get loosened so fast. Mine is loosened in am month usage. Same thing, the old keypad will be there in New 8Gb N95. Design look too old. Not Stylish. Nokia have to compete for other good mobiles vendors.
I bought the Motorola MotoRockr E6 mobile last month. Its too good mobile with enormous features. Ofcourse the camera is 2mp, it takes a sharp image in outdoor. Rockr has a business card reader, that scan n recognize the business cards and store into its phonebook. Wifi is not there, but I am using wap in Opera browser more user freindly due to its touch screen facility. Touch makes its user friendly as compared with N95. Not even one time Rockr E6 OS is crashed for me. Rockr's performance is far far better than N95. It has 1000mah battery which gives 5 days battery backup with less usage. You can watch movies, songs mp3 in 64 channel output. Movie quality in sound and video is amazing and superb and battery backup also too good. U can easily watch around 3 movies continously around 3:00 hrs each (total ard 9:00 hrs), still after u will get battery backup to another day. Mp3 Playback of 14 hrs continuous. Overall features are 2 times more than Nokia N95. Once if u use, u will feel the difference, that why I am critising Nokia N95. I am not campaigning you ppls to buy Rock E6, I am telling my view about N95. Check Motorola MotoRockr E6 reviews. Free to mail me if you have any doubts about both Rockr as well as N95

                          Hello Friends,
Please consider all the above few negative points before buying. This is a truth for N95

No Touch screen? I think Nokia is not confident in making touch screen mobiles or they want to make profit, anyway we are forced to use the old keypad. You cannot see the screen in bright sun, the screen get blackened make poor visibility even the display brightness is set to 100%. Battery backup less than a day, if you use wlan/mp3. If not using battery charge will last for hardly 2 days Application manager hangs the phones several times. This is a serious issue, most of the customer doesn't know sis support not there. only sisx n jar support. No USB charging, only thr 230v supply, cannot charge ur cell from laptop. See Sony Errision & Motorola, how good in charging the battery using USB. Bluetooth paring is too slow n transfer speed is too slow. This is applicable for those who use bluetooth in data transfer You cannot transfer files via blutooth more than 160MB in old N95. I don't know about new N95. Camera lens is not covered in new N95, Old one have a projected cover. Accumulation of dirt n getting scratch in lens area in ur precious 5 mp camera. Accessories are too costly. keypad will get loosen very fast, no life for the keypad, nokia have to do some thing for this. Without good keypad whatz the use of mobile. Not user friendly for browsing net in wireless lan. keypad problem. Poor battery life, depends on the usage above said. No option to kill the application, if the phone hangs, u need to remove the battery to reboot. This is shame for all N serie. Sim card is behind the battery. Can't turn off the network when phone is switched on. Advantage for Motorola new series like Rockr E6. small keypad make it difficult in typing. Calender entry is not as user friendly. Battery backup only 2 days. Talktime 4 hrs. Mp3 only 5 hrs. Call are getting rejected frequently when the buttons gets pressed inside the pocket, even the phone is locked. Phone will dial itself in pocket, if it is not key pad locked. Sliding get loosed so fast. mine was loosened in a month use. Interfacing N95 with our pc/laptop is very tedious, It take time for both in bluetooth n thr USB. Transfer rate through USB is slow. Battery cover is too thin, the clip can get break easily. Thickeness is more for this cell(21mm). TV out, audio output fails. video does'nt hva good quality in TV Out. FM Sound output is too low. Bass Boosting is not good. U will not feel the boosting in bass. Overall feature ratings are poor. I will rate 6 of 10. Need more features like Business card reader, Office editor, USB charging, touch screen, FM stereo output.
Office word will not show pictures n tables, No power management feature, Video flickers and drags in night mode, slow bluetooth n USB tansfer, No body think that you will clear pictures always in its 5 mp camera, its not a digital camera, its a mobile. Why am telling this, I have compared Sony 5 mp digital camera pictures with that of N95 5mp pictures. The picture clarity is for Sony's 5 mp cam though one picture size is 4.5MB jpeg, whereas the picture size of N95 5mp picture is 800Kb max in jpeg (less than 1MB). Here it goes, the jpeg picture quality is reduced if the picture is compressed less than 1 MB. N95 could retain the actual picture quality rather goes for image compression loosing the jpeg informations. There is no option to vary the compression or settings to improve the picture quality with increase in size of each captured image.
