I am looking to change my mobile and was going for this model the Nokia N95.
However, I have read a report in a well regarded consumer testing magazine that says it is prone to failure in the rain and failed their waterproof test.
Also a well known chain of 'phone shops says it is flimsy and has software issues. It does look good on paper.So what is the real deal here, is it anygood or not?
My current Nokia 6230i Orange is prone to water splashes and I had to dry it out once after a mild splash with a hairdryer, so perhaps water resistance is a Nokia failing.

im in trouble now i think to the buy the N95 8GB but The 16GB SDHC card will be available from October i'll keep my N95 and wait....

it is very nice phone specialy its camera .either the performance i am looking to buy it but it will be very expensive

y can't sony ericson and nokia like combine and make a phone that has a well good camera n loads of space to hold music n that, beacuse this fone may have more memory but the camera is betta on sony ericson by speed n that n sony ericson looks nicer than nokias...

The 352*416 pixel resolution screen is still so pricey. How much more if its 480*640 pixels! So Nokia is sticking to the standard 240*320 pixels for the moment. It's oh so clear that the 2.8" screen dimension is only just another marketing strategy.

nET{ your list of tech specs proves that the CPU of the N95 8GB is the same as the original N95. All that has changed is the RAM and the internal memory. Incidentally I am not certain what Nokia mean by DUAL CPU. Surely they are not implying that the phone houses two CPUs running at 332MHz on the same IC??
