i have N73 and i think that phone is good, plus that's my first N series mobile. N73 priority most of its function compare with k800 and 810. but some say the camera quality is even better then ori n95. i glad to hear and hope so but doubt on that. can any 1 explain why say so?

Unfortunately, while I cant deny the functionality of the mighty QWERTY (I myself have an E61i), the fusion of multimedia and business has so far created pretty bulky phones. Maybe down the line the situation will improve and they will become slimmer but for now we're stuck with bricks in the pocket if we want both.

In answer to your question, I dont know how the CPU situation works exactly, but I can confirm that its not 2 processors at that clock speed. Memory was upgraded but the processor has pretty much remained the same (anyone have any further information on this?)

Cymbalrocks, let me rock the cymbal a little. I do not agree with your sharp distinction between personalities that use either E or N series, although it seems as if Nokia agree with you. I believe that there is a continuum of personalities. In other words there are many who are middle-of-the-road users: they text alot but want Nseries functionality. Reporters would be an example. An N series with a slideout QWERTY would be a compact solution. If one looks at the Samsung F700, HTC TyTN II they are not ugly phones and with today's technology the weight could be kept reasonable. In Britain many text alot and if the design is OK people will give it a chance. Furthermore QWERTY allows you to type in your vernacular. It is a far better solution for a high-end multimedia device (phone)...changing the subject; does anybody have any answer to my CPU question below? TAK what do you think??

well...this is a very nice phone...
when i checked the N95 i found 2 downsides for it.

                      1) battery life of 5 hours.
                      2) no touchscreen

but with this new 8GB edition they changed the battery model and it lasts for 6 hours now.. which is a little bit bitter.

i'm waiting for it to come out in the market to buy it :-)

N series will probably never have a qwerty. N versus E is simply a question of multimedia versus business. Trying to make a hybrid with both, which several companies have done, results in a huge, heavy, ugly looking phone. You can pretty much stereotype the typical E versus N class user. I've seen the E class used only by select business professionals (who are usually too swamped to give anyone the time of day) or by geeks (such as my self I suppose :P). On the N class front, its usually a more upbeat crowd and again, select business professionals who normally dont seem nearly as swamped.

I have an E61i, really like the qwerty but I dont really get much mileage out of it, max 5 sms a day, and there really isnt a lot of typing for me in the browser window. So considering getting this one instead so I can bundle a decent camera/camcorder/mp3 player (segments where the E61i severely lacks) in a smaller, lighter package.

                          From those from Netherlands, I found a N95 8GB listed on Marktplaats - http://gsm-telecom.marktplaats...-editie.html

I just contacted it, I wait his reply. I hope that 650 euro is the final price.

Dude the image is definitely N95 but NOT 8GB Black series. If you will take a look closer, the buttons lay-out are thesame with old N95. please don't be misled by the picture itself. The finishing black texture is matte and not glossy! The price here in Philippines, based of the market trend will probably reach Php 45,000 or $ 900.00

OK this is for the technos: Nokia state that this phone has a dual CPU. Does this mean it has two separate processors; one running the Symbian software and the other telephony software?? Thus we have two microprocessors each running at 332MHz- true or false??

Well...I commend Nokia for being forever innovative. I am sure many will go for this new device. As for me I'll go for the E61i. Yes it looks like a slice of bread!! But I am looking for an all-in-one phone with a QWERTY so that I can type fast and furiously anywhere without having to think about attaining a bluetooth keyboard. It is clear that Nokia has zero intention of making an Nseries phone with a QWERTY. I cannot imagine what is supposed to be a mini-computer not having a QWERTY. 22 Nseries and not one in sight! Furthermore the lack of a VGA screen and the same deaf GPS just makes me want to sit this one out. Maybe next year Nokia will start placing VGA screens and decent GPS on their phones. Patience is a virtue!!

This rocks. It IS the best phone.Differences between Orig. n95 and ths one are so that everybody knows:
                                      - 8GB internal Flash.
                                      - Larger display (2.8", up from 2.6"), same resolution.
                                      - MicroSD slot removed.
                                      - 128MB RAM, up from 64MB.
                                      - 1200mAh battery, up from 950mAh.
                                      - Slider protecting camera lens removed to make room for the larger battery.
                                      - Cosmetic changes to media and front-panel buttons.
                                      -CPU far better.
                                      -Slider problem fixed.

It will come out in october,q4,this year at 560 EURO without taxes. That means aproximatly 650-700 Euro.Hope my comment helped someone:D.

What to say about N95 with the 8GB memory...it is great. I've found a unit out here in Netherlands. I've paid 800 euro for it. Tomorrow I will fully test it. If anyone wants to get more info on it, can email me.
