Here in the Philippines, the only persons whom I've seen a N95 in their hands are actors, socialites, politicians. I've never seen an ordinary person having this phone (N95). Maybe, after a year when the price drops dramatically I'll see more people owning N95. I hope I'll be one of them. But of course, in Europe, situation is different cuz most people are rich. :)

Nobody wants to answer CymbalRocks' question. How does one enter text into the browser when in landscape mode? If it means switching back to portrait mode it defeats the whole purpose of having a big screen and landscape. In other words the design is fundamentally flawed. If a user wants to make the most of such a big screen and text with it while using the browser the phone should either be candy bar ( with the screen in landscape orientation), or open like a laptop or my preferred solution of a slideout QWERTY.

What's the use of the 2.8 inch screen when it is not touch. It's battery sux. W960 is still better than it.

lol look at the size, its a monster, it wont fit in anyone pocket unless ur a rapper with parachute pants lol
i agree to the nameless guy below, nokia can put everything in the phone, but the construction sucks. the price is also a "bit" too high even to european standards of life (understand this as "WTF? ALL THIS MONEY FOR A PHONE?").

ZAIB. you got that right, the silver looks way better than the black. 8 gb so what, when we can put a compatible 4 gb card in the original n95.

Hi guys- im confused! do i get the normal n95 now or wait for the n95 8gb to come out?
basically, i dont need anywhere near 8gb of storage and the colour and bigger screen arent really important to me. Also, im not a heavy phone user.

Stupid question but bear with me please.
I'm considering trading in my 'slice of bread' (e61i) as someone put it for this bad boy.
Ok so I'll lose my QWERTY and will have to use T9 for texting.. I can live with that... but pray tell me this:
How the **** am I supposed to type say a web address or anything else for that matter in the web browser when I'm browsing in landscape mode (which is really how it should be used given the screen dimensions). It seems rather stupid to have to tilt the phone to vertical, type and tilt it back to horizontal to keep browsing.
Any current N95 users have input? Please share. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to have Optical Zoom, This N95 need to have Optical Zoom x5. the last only got digital zoom, again this phone gotta digital zoom. the Nokia manufacturer hasn't got any idea. this only 8Gb with Internal memory and no card slot. The Nokia N97 will be available next year, which have 20GB Internal memory even you can put a Card. Rumour say that the N97 cellular phone which we would prefer to name as prince of GSM cellular phone, will comes with 3-inch huge display screen, a 5-megapixel camera with 20x zoom (who needs 20x zoom?), miniSD expandability and 20GB of internal memory.the Nokia N97 will shock the world as what the Nokia N95 did when Nokia officially announces the features and specifications of Nokia N97 in the future.this one only Optical 2.4x Zoom. it will be great surprise when come out this phone.

I agree: for one-handed typing, T9 works well, better than a small fiddly QWERTY keyboard. I have just got rid of my SE P1i and intend to get a N95 to replace it.
