yeah..., 28 Apr 2010GPS will not work without a network, and possible also GPRS... moreWho told you GPS wont work without network or 3G?? You only need network if you wanna use A-GPS.. these phones have dedicated GPS chips in-built, so even if you put your phone in offline mode, you wont have any network but your phone's GPS will still work...

Slide out the keyboard to get better GPS signal (the antenna is under the keypad)
Maybe your network is too old fashion, like Smart Buddy or TNT? Try a Globe sim, configure GPRS, and try again =)

basty, 27 Apr 2010anyone can help..i cant find the wifi connection menu and m... moreI assume your menu still have the icons, so we can navigate. Here is what you should do...
press the menu button
Find the icon of a folder with a wrench, OK
Find the icon of a wrench, OK
- and now we go blind...
press OK (center navkey button) TWICE
press Down 4 times, then OK
..and you should now be in the language menu, and you should be able to find English there.
If it was set to Automatic language, it should give you english menues if you use a filipino sim-card, but i assume you already tried to put a sim? =)

I have N82 and N96 but i still love this N95 8GB. Its solid, fast, not too heavy, reliable. Ok, so N82 has the better flash and is as fast, but its 2.4 inch display still makes it inferior to N95 8GB.

mmm, 25 Apr 2010I have just bought it, I want to know how to use the GPS?
mmm
The use of gps data are sattelite and network dependent. I tested mine using integrated gps but no feedback though it tries to seach for available sattelites. I don't know why. Maybe my phone is very weak in getting that feedback. I also learned that at least 3 sattelites are needed to calculate the coordinates of a position or location. I don't know if that is true but that was what my phone tells me. I hope somebody here in gsmarena will help us both. Thanks

medeni abdelkadir, 25 Apr 2010i want to use wireless internet how can i use i dont know u... moremedeni abdelkadir
1st you must be in a wifi zone. If you turn on the wlan scanner of your phone it will detect all the available wlan that you can use one at a time provided that it is an open network or not requiring any pre-shared key. Then you can start browsing the internet.
If you want to use your video recording to the fullest lenght of time, use the mass memory as your storage instead of the phone memory provided that it is not full yet.
