Aysha, 04 Sep 2009im so fukn confused abt N86 and this cell.. pls tell me whi... moren86 is better than n95 8gb in all fronts except for two - speakers and graphics. the 2.8-inch screen is not really an n95 8gb advantage since n86 boasts an amoled display. the 3d graphics however on n95 8gb is poorly utilised. there are almost none of 3rd party softwares that make use of it.

confused between nokia n79 & n95-8GB. yhough N95-8gb looks pretty solid but plz clarify :-
              1) any slider problem in N95-8GB ??
              2) is keypad of N79 rigid ??

Previously i had decided to buy Nokia E71 - though great stuff, but camera's really a draw back.

              plz give a concrete suggestion between E71, N79 & N95-8GB.

This is the 4th phone I ever used, and the one I used the longest. I purchased it when it first came out, so it has been with me for almost 2 years now.

I am very satisfied and happy with this phone, and don't feel any regret still using it today even with the newer models that come out in the market every week.

Probably one of the best things I can mention about this phone is the strong signal reception. Unlike the phones I used before, I can talk in the N85-8GB in underground location and places where other phone won't work.

The screen looks really big and nice, and it's fun to watch movies on it. Video and photo quality is also good.

Many applications are available for this phone, so you can enrich it with lots of software and features.

The slider is still working fine with me, even if it feels slightly loose when closed, but I guess this is a normal behavior that all users of this model experience.

Less than a year after purchasing it, I had a problem with the main speaker during phone calls where I couldn't hear the other party unless I slightly squeeze the slider, but the problem seems to have disappeared now and I never had it again for a whole year.

I am not happy about the GPS signal locking, which takes longer than it should. Also I am not happy about no lens cover for the camera. The protecting glass on the lens had very tiny and faint scratches, but this didn't seem to affect image quality.

Other than that I can't mention anything negative about this phone. The 8GB is more than enough and I never felt I needed more during the past 2 years.

Hi to all friends, I have a N95 8GB and substantial I'm not satisfied. SYMBIAN really must say frankly that is slow and quite boring, and an operating system is ludicrous. I think if the CPU of N series phones be 10000GHz, again they're still slow!

i never had n95 8gb since i always had sony ericsson phones but i've always wanted this phone because of its sleek and chunky design which perfectly fits me since i am big.

for battery life, make sure tat you turn off the 3g.make sure that you switch it to gsm mode if 3g will not be used.only use 3g mode if you will go online and video calls.otherwise, turn it off.why?it consumes 4 hours of your battery's power whenever 3g is turned on on standby mode.

just to share this with you though.hope this helps!

The user's of this phone can tell me please, how much better the sliding mechanism of this phone? Is this strong enough like nokia 6500? or better? or worse?

If I buy this, will I regret it just for its sliding after use of few days? Please response. Thanks.
