Hi ones again 2 all the gsm readers can i please say 1 thing and the last thing with v12.0.43 is the n96 much better, i agree it was slow and made you mad but now realy people the n 96 is truly a good handset and i had 2 n95 classic and 5 n95 8gb why because i love 2 swap and bey the best that why i can tell you stick with your n96 its a good cell phone dont read any more what you see on gsm about the n96 its senseless kind regards jp

S2pd cmplains about N96.. You. shud have used the phone before judging it.your just poor thts why you couldnt buy one.. I ddnt experienced any problem using ths phne.the life of the batt is on par with n82,nd n95 eventhough it hs a larger nd brighter screen and packed with more features than any other n series phones.

it's kind a bit shocked when people here damn it the n96.. i've plan to buy this device on my 1st thought.. i can't believe the fact of battery life of the device is that sucks?..compared to sony x1, the price is similar and run off by plus minus 100..but certain specs of n96 is much better like 16M display than X1 35K and the internal is 16Gb than X1 256Mb.. but if this phone really sucks and hang 500 times a day, then i shouldn't buy this phone nor X1..Maybe N97 much way better.. can't wait to have it in store..

N96 hav both dedicated microchp video and audio procesors.its way beter thn 5800 tht doesnt shoot decent photos.il jst w8 4 n97 ..ive already hd n91,n92,n93,n95,n958gb,n96. Nd soon n97 hahaha!

This is a fact Not an opinion!!!
Iv been using this device since the day i recieved it at work on the 18 of December 08 til date. 2dy is my 4th month aniversery with my baby i must say at 1st it was a bit bumpy due 2 the firmware it came with. v10 it us2 reboot 3-4tyms a day and the UI was very slow even with the theme efects of and auto screen rotate. The bettery life was very bad. Yet i knew exectly wat Nokia was tryna achieve with this monster! Finaly after all that trouble the tym came were i had the opotunity 2 update my firmware 2 v12 and wow it came 2 life! Outstanding even though it stil needs tweeking here and there it is by far 1 of the best devices Nokia has ever made appart from the build quality and bettery life this would hav been PERFECT! I guess I had to do a hard power reboot (remove battery) for about 500 times for the last 6 months I’ve been using this. Very poor user experience. Where are the customer sat teams who would review the performance before a product goes into the market???????????????????

wonder who QA this product... and if the QA did a good job in finding the defects, wonder who deferred those defects and let this go into the market in this state!!! The buggggggiest phone out of about 12 nokia models ive had so far for the last 10 yrs~!!!

this happens when the back light settings are on full. I work at CPW and exchanged a guys phone for the third time before i sorted it. Its a common default with these phones but there you go. turn it down and it should be ok.

I totally agree!!! This phone sucks, I had it for 2 days and returned it coz the battery ran out twice, and I didnt use it for that long!!! Its slow and doesnt respond very well to button presses!!! Just stay clear of this phone!!!
