I bought the N96 3 months ago.
My advice is not to buy this phone because it is not practical and it has alot of software problems.
It has been many times that this phone has let me down when I need it badly. Restart and flickering and freez are the most popular issues.
Also, the material of this phone is sooooooooo cheap and it is not heavy duty.

hey guys bought the 96 few days back.. but the only problem is the battery life ... i can live with the other disadvantages of 96... but not the battery life ...
so i was wondering can I use the battery of my n95 8gb since it's 1200 mAh it will squeeze out more juice???? ... but don't knw would it cause any harm to the 96 .. so can u guys help me ??

Why doesnt the f@^*ng ring when some 1 phones me,got it 2 days now,profile setting is correct set to max volume bt whet some 1 phones,no sound and it is not set to silent

As the owner of a N96 and a big fan of Cyber Shot, I can tell this : Comparing to C905, hardware built quality is totally Chinese. On the other hand, the main advantage of N96 is it's really multipurpose usability. Look is totally cheap, but owerall it's a great trouble free multiuseable device.

I have the N96 and I don't regret having it. I upgraded my phone from N95 8gb. Everything is included to the N96 and has additional features live myTV function. Camera is good but the click button is a little hard to push. (my advice to some, picture in a timer of 5 sec - No shake of the hands, no more pushing hard the button and it gives time to fully focus on the subject to be pictured) N96 wLan is the best so far due to the faster internet connection. Download softwares at (mobile9.com and mosh.com). And it has features not blocked by Cellular jammers! Music? Iphone users, too bad for you! :-) And upgrade the phone's software to 12.043 for LagFree and Hangfree of the N96.

N96...bad build,poor music buttons/game buttons quality...in all,a good phone as per performance and speed.and y waste 2 ARM 9 processors on an n81 lookalike when one ARM 11 will be ok with better RAM capacity?i use e63...monoblock rules.
