The N96 has the same bettery as the N95-1 BL-5F And the N95-2 8gb has the BL-6F aperently the BL-6F bettery fits in the N96 bay bt the cover dosnt close properly...yet it dose increas the bettery life of the N96 buy a substantial amount of hours...so Pleas get ur facts straight be4 u post.

the phone is really well built with good features..but it starts slowing down ab it after a certain amount of storage space is used...which i find is typicalb of nokias.i did some research and apparently it uses the same battery asthe n95black but a slower processor.i hated it its a frusrtating phone 2 use..so i gave it 2 my nephew and got myself the google g1..that is the best phone out guarsanteed(ill leave my thoughts and comments there)

ah long, 22 Jan 2009ive been using tis phone for so long.. the bad thing is its... moreUpdate ur firmware via nokia software updater. Its in ur pc suit. Note u gona need internet. The latest firmware is v12.043 2 chek ur firmware version typ the folowing in standby mode. *#0000# note its the 1st thing that appears. The N96 comes with v10. Myn is gud iv got 9gb of data on it.

ive been using tis phone for so long.. the bad thing is its damn lag.. batt can't last long.. the best thing is memory.. 16gb.. now i use 10 gb already.. 2000+ songs.. p.s can anyone tell me some feedback on this so that i can try to inprove it.. i dun feel like selling it away cause i bought it at $1000+ very ex lei..

im tossing up between an i-phone and a nokia n96! ive had the i-phone before, but i went to the beach and left it my pocket when i jumped in the water and it completely stuffed up. now im waiting for my provider to send me another one, but they said u have an option of another phone if want, and i instantly had the n96 in my thoughts. for an extra $11.00 a month. do u think its wise to change for a nokia n96 over the i-phone???????

The phone definitely better if it has SD card slot and shutter cover for the rear camera like the previous N96 model...the rest is superb..

This phone is not slow, i have from the first day i could find in stores, like 3 months ago. After update, it's really fast, the fastest symbian phone i've seen, it's really a good terminal

If you people want to write your opinion about things like PHONES and s*it like that, do it in plain old English so other people, like me, don't have spent their entire evening trying to understand you got it?! now can someone tell me what's the real deal with this phone? i for one like it a lot, i like the design, the 5 mp camera, the sound is great and the battery is very poor besides this? :D

its a good cell but its speed is too slow n it makes it sucks.. i had a n96 before but i sold it becos its so slow.. n95 8gb is best..!

it is the best mobile that i have ever seen and specially its maps and sound system like a dj system and the camera wooooooow all is fantastic

I am using the mobile since 4 months now. Conclusion can be :
- this mobile is really great in use and functions
- the battery life is short
To me, if we can find a better battery, far away the best Nokia mobile. till we have a better battery....need to carry a spare battery with you in case you make lots of calls
