ok i decided after reading 200 articles, im not getting this phone which is a real disappointment! never thought id do this but im moving from nokia and going 4 the samsung innov8 or maybe n85 or il just wait 4eva, f#@*!!!

why would it be better if its hackable? what about the n96, its not good?

i think il get the n96. i dont see why the n85 is so grand? n96 is better in specs and the n85 is 2 expensive! 489 a month compared 2 n96 359 a month

Hi i m using this phone for more than 1 month & i m vary happy with this phone the auto rotate is amazing and the screen quality better than the iphone it is king of mobiles go 4 it.....

love it but battery is pants[ok cos i got my n95 battery as well] u will need a spare!! all in good phone tho,the internet radio is brilliant.
I have had many nokias over the years this 1 is the BEST EVER!!!!!!!

The N95 8gb is perfect it dose instaul apps has the best 3d graphics 4 gaming and is also hackable. The N85 has a gud cam dnt believe evry thing ppl say especialy here in GSM ARENA! coz most hav neva even seen the real device. I mean realy how cn nokia's gaming phone hav bad graphics? Jst go 4 it n85. Dnt let any 1 mis lead u!

what phone do u think i should get?
the n96 has the best specs on a phone and the new fp2 and simbian 9.3 os, but it has a crap battery and slow cpu, lags and divx does not work, ngage is also crap.but i heard it has the best stereo speakers and gps functionality is the best on it.i like the design though.
the n85 has a slightly smaller screen but better battery. it lags and no 3d graphics card 4 ngage. its camera quality is not very good and its speaker sound is crap. its gps functionality is average and the phone looks slightly feminin. it also does not have any memory and requires a memory stick which is quite dumb.
the n95(8g)is an all around phone but is gone quite old now and ppl are upgrading (2 what??). it has a faster cpu than n96 with 3d accelerator. its gps does not work well and no 3rd party apps can be installed which sucks! its has an older fp and simbian software. the phones graphics are not as great as n96. it has no memory card port but 8g isnt 2 bad. it has a single led flash and the camera does not work that well at night.
i am really confused and i really need 2 get a phone this month.what is your opinion? which phone is better 2 get?

i just phoned dstv mobile and they said it is in durban but trial dvbh is only for those that have the samsung p910 and does not work on the n96 anywhere in south africa. they said it will be out during this year but then u have 2 pay 4 it with airtime which will probably be very expensive therefore its not worth buying the phone.

Really crap phone, very very slow, the software is not running well, stopping all the time and the battery life is so short. That's definitly not a buy!

Keep your money. Don't buy this crap if you are a N95 8GB and looking for upgrade. This phone has about 20% suckier battery life than the N95 8GB. It's not faster either. Just bigger screen, more memory. If you own the n95 8gb, you should know that the N96 is a concept of the handsfree square. If your looking for change, wait for the N97 or get the X1.

Chek the last update and u wil c its only 6month old info so u ask ur service provider on availability.. The site is the best site on dvb-h info on the net so dnt say its old coz there is no beta than it. Its only 6month old info.

kenzo i live in durban so i cannot meet u, i just wanted 2 know if the dvb-h works in durban because it does not say it on that site and that site is old, some1 told me it works in durban and some said it doesnt.

If not then i think u gona have2 download it agen b4 u try downloading check if the PC Suit disc dosnt hav it. Explore disc.. My N-gage app stoped working when i updated bt i used my frends pc gona try restoring data agen.. If u did backup ur data... then try a format then restore agen, formating u just hold * 3 and green button while the phone is of then swith on til nokia sign flashes.

im i the UK and I have the device for 2 months now, its locked on 3 network, no major problems so far. Comparably, its slower than n85 and n95. I recently updated the firmware, it sped up a bit and I can turn on the theme effects on now without compromising the speed, i also noticed higher 3g signal quality and gps signal quality. anyways, i updated the firmware, but now, the mobile tv(dvb-h) application is gone and when i turn the device on and off, it has a 3 splash screen that wasnt there before. what happened? does any1 have an answer? i dont like the 3 splash screen its rubbish...

im using N96 past 1 month i like this device but only bad thing "BATTERY" :@ i have to charge my cell 2 times in one day so i'll suggest every one who is planning to buy nokia N96 plzz don't go with this until Nokia give some king of patch or something

if u dnt need more than 8gb and tv then go 4 N95 8gb. Bt if u like me who needs more memory and likes tv. N96 is 4 u! I stil say go 4 the N85. Trust me!
