the only problem i really have with n96 is it keeps on hanging when i play music and when i recieve sms at the sametime.i love the fone it should be really an excellent fone if not for the hanging.sigh

DYL, 21 Nov 2008hi there ppl can someone tell me dat i just got a new nokia... morea china phone is totally different from an original nokia phone made in china. a china phone only copies the design from the original nokia phone but not the features. if your n96 has 5mp camera, wifi, dvb-h, and all the features of the n96 then that's certainly original even though that's made in china. made by nokia is actually made in hong kong, china. but there really are nokia phones that show made in china rather than made by nokia.
again, pls remember, a china phone only copies the design from the original nokia phone but not the features, so it's very easy to tell the real from the fake.

it's f*****n nice model i used to use the king n95 8gb but this one is king of king's like HHH hahahaha you know why cuse china is the best in every thing...

hi there ppl can someone tell me dat i just got a new nokia n96 but it says on the box dat made in china under authority of finland nokia corporation is this a china phone i mean i feel rejected all the time wen i tell ppl its made in china n they say its a fake cell phone i mean i spend the original amount then howcome they say its fake pls tell me anyone thankyou

hello every one who uses this unit!!!i have a query to ask.do you have problems with hanging when you play music and then you recieve an sms?it hangs then sometimes it shuts down then restarts but most of the time it hangs just like that.i have to take off batteries then put it back then turn on power.i only loaded up the memory for like 3 gig only but when i start playing music then recieve sms,this incident happens.pls let me know if you do have the same or almost the same problems.thank you!

the fone is really good!!!its an entertainment package plus a mass memory all in one and its an nice concept but the main problem is the processor.i am not questioning the quality or the series of the processor coz some say its arm9 and its better than the arm11 whatsoever but i have the unit since sunday and it has hanged lots of times whenever i play music and i only filled up the memory up to 3 gig!watching dvb-h tv i dont have problems with nor viewing divx movies on it.its good and has a satisfactory quality videos.tried to upgrade version lots of times and formatted the memory but still its in vain.i hope nokia could come up ASAP with a better firmware version coz this is still the n96's first firmware upgrade.so nokia pls do something about this.

you becareful with imitations coz i never heard of n96i!there has been lots of china imitation fones thats been out.it really looks like the names sake but its actually an imitation.check if it has a dual sim slot.if it has it surely is an imitation.you better bring it back where you got that.

hi i have a n96i phone but i got it from china does it means that i have a bad product . some of the times the calls drop and it is all in chinesse can i get an english version please i need to check it to see if i can change to gsm or gprs to get a better signal thank you very much.

i like the phone, but im not that comfortable with the keypads yet. my thumb hurts the longer i txt. but so far, i like the phone.
