n96 iz very good fone, good in music, colour quality and camera + video, very good fone....nokia and apple are the best!!!

Nokia had 40.2% of the market share last year and at the second quarter of this year. Right now they have 39.4%. Nokia havent lost much, less than 1 percent. Samsung comes second with 16.4% and gained by only 1% this quarter. No one comes even remotely close to nokia and analyst predict that nokia will recover the lost market share with their latest capable phones (n79, n85, 5800xm, 8mp n-series with optical zoom to be announced soon, 8mp n-series touchscreen coming soon, a touchscreen even cheaper than 5800 coming soon, the most affordable music phone-5130xm, etc). So get your facts right buddy.

Samsung beats Motorola on home-turf, becomes leading mobile phone manufacturer in the US. With 22.4% of the US cellphone market share, Samsung bested Motorola by 1.3%. Motorola's 21.1% market share allowed it to hold on to the runner-up spot, just barely beating out rival LG's 20.5% market share. Nokia made modest gains in the US and is currently holding an 8.4% market share.
Samsung is number 1 in the US, and France. Nokia is currently number 4 in the US, previously at number 5. However, Nokia is starting to lose market share this time in the rest of the world. They are down from 51.4 percent last year to only 38.9 percant this year. Nokia is also losing its smartphone market share. Blackberry RIM and Apple iPhone now hold the top two spots of smartphone shares, and Nokia comes as number 3.

Sony Ericsson is taking their cellphones to the next level, with the goal of producing 12-20-megapixel equipped camera phones in 2012.

Looking towards the somewhat near future, SE is envisioning a new line of phones that boast an XGA (1024 x 768) display, a fast CPU of 1GHz, and an Internet connection of at least 100 Mbps.
In addition to the more robust hardware, they're hoping to throw in a digital camera that can snap huge 12-20 megapixel digital images. This camera will also be able to record footage in full high definition, rivaling modern camcorders.
"We have an image of a mobile terminal equipped with digital camera and camcorder capabilities of the future," said Jonas Lundstedt, Ericsson's Director Portfolio Management.

N96 is a BIG JOKE! Consider this. All recent Nseries phones N78, N79, and N85 are equipped with a large 1200mah battery. Even N81 and N82 have 1050mah battery. And N96 has the same 950mah battery of the 2-year old N95. All recent Nseries phones N78, N79 and N85, as well as the 1-year old N81 have Naviwheel. The N96 prototypes had Naviwheel. The retail N96 units pitifully don't have a Naviwheel. N78, N79 and N85 have FM transmitter and N96 does not have such thing. So what does N96 have? It has 16Gb internal memory. C'mon! 16Gb is nothing to brag about as 16Gb cards are already available. DVB-H? That's the last thing I will ever need in a phone. N96 is nothing but a big joke! Only fools will be deceived by this expensive useless product! If you are wise enough, you'd rather buy a N85 and another 16Gb card. It's much cheaper but so much better than this very buggy N96

Definetly just a new royal dress plus little more jewellary Nokia always used to be of superb construction and way ahead of everyone but standard has dropped probably king needs new apprentes with fresh brains not brans or sleep like motorola
