the problems with this phone is that it is too slow the design of the number keys is wrong as they are all joined together and the batery is not big enough. i was far happier with my n95 8gb. i have just exchanged my n96 for sony ericsson x1

I have had the n96 for 2 weeks and I love it!!!! Great design, good specs...no sofware glitches other then the ringing tones not working properly...but after having the sony ericsoon k850 its nothing!

Does any other N96 user have the same problem as I do - I keep getting a message 'no network coverage' or sometimes just a restricted access to the internet. I can have three phones on the table and they will all connect with no problems. The N96 just will not. It is also very slow opening applications tho to be fair once open speed is not an issue and the battery life is not the problem that we were all led to believe it would be. It's just this antenna problem that spoils it. Anyone else found this or am I just unlucky?

really happy with this phone, no problem at all.
and navigation with Nokia maps works fine and fast.
Very happy I changed my mind and bought N96 instead of inov8

This is a good phone, if you never own N95 / N95 8GB before.

Considering the high specifications of the N 96 - it is a good phone to have, but considering all the features - the 5 MP camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics, the 3.5 mm camera, the TV function, and many others that we don't usually use - it is a pretty expensive phone in the Philippines. It retails for about PHP 36,500.00 (about US$ 760.00)!!! =)

refreshes music all the time. if i leave it, it continues to refresh as long as the memory remains. is that the problem anyone has faced. i have a 2gb nokia mmc as well in case to back my contacts and stuffs. apart from that its a grrrrrrrrrr8 phone!!!!!

Checked this out today and the only downside comment I have is the design. I think the N95 looks better.

I guess nokia is trying the same trick as apple in terms of selling us slow phones/batteries and after that selling their new versions later on for a higher price. I experienced a few freeze ups while leaving my n96 phone on standby and had to reboot by taking the battery out. Will have to wait for a new firmware to come out then it might function better. Until then we might have to wait for the nokia n97, 98 or 99 to come out.
