This thing drags sooooo slowly it's unreal. There is also a fault on them already in that they won't ring. Seems a lot of the buzzers are faulty on them. It also feels very cheap when you put it alongside the N95.

                  From mobileburn.com :

While we are just now receiving our N96 review units, at this moment it is hard to imagine how the Nokia N96 is going to top what Samsung has done with the i8510 INNOV8. Samsung has put together a very solidly built, feature rich, and darn fun to use smartphone. The i8510 is the best performing and most feature rich camera phone we have ever used, there is enough internal storage on hand for thousands and thousands of music tracks, and Samsung's optical mouse adds a lot of wow factor to the already fantastic S60 web browser.

We reslly don't have anything even remotely negative to say about the i8510 INNOV8. "Highly Recommended", plain and simple. If you are considering an N95 or N96, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't check out this gem first.

Got my N96 for 2 weeks. The phone are not lousy as the forumer said. the Battery can last for 2 days. Every function are great, not lag in menu and others too. GPS is very fast. nothing to complaint for a great phone.

This phone is rubbish, tiny screen, can't read webpages easily, it's sooo hard to use, what a stupid menu system.

I'm going back to my iPhone.

Stop whinging about battery life - all the new phones have poor battery life. The trade-off for size in all mobile phones is poor battery life - Just charge it every night or by yourself a car charger - wait it comes with one = problem solved! As for the phone, i got mine a week ago and it works great. Speakers and media players are definately an improvement as well as the dual LED flash and the video recording. I also like the flat panel design. Overall it does everything a phone should do and it does it very very well. If you have an N95i it is not worth upgrading to this, but if you don't have an N95i and want the top of the range model get an N96 - i got mine and managed to squeeze optus in Aust. for $0 on a $49 cap!

I bought this mobile 3 days ago by $736. You can’t compare N96 to N95 8GB. N95 8GB got shaky slider (very very very poor slider). Other phones got small screens and no internal memory. Internal memory is more stable than external memory and you don’t have to buy one. I used N95, N95 8GB & N82. N96 is much better than these phones externally (perfect slider-wide clear screen – dual flash) and internally. N96’s battery can live at least 3 days with normal use and you can recharge it within 2 hrs not like Samsung i8510. N96 is also better than N85 which has small screen and no internal memory. The only disadvantage of N96 is the price.
