currently the worst s60 phone for me. I dont know why Nokia is always doing this N81 design on Nseries phones instead they should make better one. N95 8GB is much better in design only that it featured s60 FP1 but is still better.

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2008what do you mean buy N96 made in china and N96 made in finl... morethey are telling me that china made are in low quality. i dont know if that is true. well, i think nokia will not sacrifice their name and quality if the unit will suffer from a negative performance. i'm planning to buy one this month but i'm having a second thought if i'll get the china made or wait till the finland made comes out here in saudi

nokia_collector, 05 Oct 2008hi to all Nokia user, the price in saudia arabia for N96 is... morelikewise, coming here. that is also my sentiments. if it is from china, it must be sold in a lower price. is there a finland made unit here in saudi? coz all my friends unit were all china made.

maybe u ppl dont understand wat Nokia is doin, maybe they have released this phone just to get ppl busy with, when they r probably working on a much better phone who knows, n i think Nokia has all the shares in the market not from the expensive phone they make, but from the mid range phones like the 5800 xpress music n many others, so just shud give nokia a lil bit of time n than we'll understand y they released this phone, n wat they goin to release next. i hope they wont let me down.

                Thanks 3araby.

everybody is complaining about slow cpu, and even the reviewer has no idea about the CPU. The days of high clock frequency in CPU are gone, check out what has happened in desktop processors, they are moving towards more number of cores. in fact N96 as a solution for video is better than N95, since N96 chipset has built in hardware video accelerators which are not present in TI OMAP 2420 chipset present in N95

Downgrading the camera and processor for presence of 16Gb and DVB-H yet pricing this phone so high is not a good marketing move. The price of this phone should be around 500 dollars only and not 750 dollars because the only thing it has over N95 8GB is the 16Gb and DVB-H. 16Gb microSDHC cards now cost only 65 dollars. They have added 2 not so revolutionary chips in N96 but in turn they downgraded the camera and processor. N96 has the worst 5 megapixel camera among all Nokia phones. And it's also the most sluggish among all FP1 and FP2 phones.

what's with the ARM 9 264 mhz CPU? Thatta make this handset one hell of a slow poke... Yeah yeah I know it's done on purpose to save battery life... They could have just raised the batt capaciy rather than equipping it with a slow processor.. Now thatta make this phone crap... The one used in the so old N73 is arm 9 220.. This differs only by a bit!

sonia, 05 Oct 2008I really dis agree with all the users who give negative fee... morei disagree with you.
why would u released an unfinish phone?
full of bugs. the fact that they have all the time in the world to make this phone better.
then they just released it full or errors and bugs. what the??
                                    just for money making??
anyways, business is business but how will you gain the loyalty of your consumer when all comes in your mind is making money rather than making a masterpiece.
