Kenzo, 22 Sep 2008Absolutely true.....finaly some 1 who sees the light and sp... moreYour right. It doesnt really bring anything new to the table. The only thing samsung did was pump up the megapixels.
The i8510 can do many things, but it has too many limitations like its size and bad egronomics. I am a music buff and i frequently use the multimedia keys on nokia phones. I would rather get the n96 since it has them. The 3.5mm audio jack on the top is another bonus.
Also, The kickstand takes viewing videos to another level. The picture quality is quite good, like the n78. Then there's the dual slide design for superb landscape gaming.
To me, this handset screams multimedia more than any other phone in the market at the moment and it delivers on all fronts superbly. Pity the samsung fanboys will never agree. Guess they'll sacrifice all these extra benefits for bigger pictures. Lol...

The i8510 dosnt cut it bieng a multimedia device...its more of a high end device...lol i gust wish Sammsung fan-boys would stop braging about it...coz clearly it shows that Sammsung has acheived something thy'v neva been able 2 pull off...
hence i call it the i8510...and leav out the "innov8" coz i so ne inovation in terms of the comercial market...its an innovation 2 Saamsungs portfolio...lol...sadly its true....nuthing new in the market eccepting the 8megapixel....

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Get n85. If you have more cash, get n96. E71 isnt very strong on multimedia capabilities. I8510 is also very good, but i find it too big, its egronomics arent very friendly and it has a few limitations e.g no n-gage, cant create music presets via equalisers, no dedicated multimedia keys, etc.
But the best value for money at the moment is n85.

DVB-H is a DIDITAL TV tuner. It's totally different from the concept of regular television at home that picks up ANALOGUE signals and broadcasts local TV stations. It is also different from video streaming that connects to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, 3G or WiFi to stream audio & video. DVB-H is of higher quality than video streaming because video is decoded in MP4 format and audio is AAC format at 128kbps bitrate.
