Anonymous, 13 Sep 2008n95 8 gb has far better battery life.... the specs for both... moreActually, the difference in battery life between n95 8gb and n96 isnt big. According to the reviews, the n95 8gb stays on longer for just a few hours under normal use (between 1-5 hours), but n96 outdoes the n95 8gb when playing music and videos.

          What's an "FM transmitter"?

The N96 doesn't have one, but the N85 does.

Nokia has 3 high end phones coming very soon. The first one is midrange Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which will be the very first handset running on the new S60 Touch UI platform (Symbian OS 9.5 S60 3rd Ed. FP3). The second is the flagship touch based Nokia N98 also running the S60 Touch UI and is the very first S60 equipped with a "VGA" display. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia N98 will be announced in London on October 2nd. The third is the 8 megapixel flagship Nokia N97, a slider phone with a rotating camera at the top of the phone. It will be announced in Q1 2009. The odd thing here is N98 will get announced and released prior to N97, a clear indication that Nokia is not after the 8MP race, but they are focusing on their touchscreen phones first.

This phones price should come down very fast in a month. Im guessing around 450-500 USD. Very overprised for a phone with Q1 2008 features being sold in Q4 2008

Ashton, 13 Sep 2008i just got mine a few hours ago with contract from addicted... moreI paid S$788 , ard ( USD 560 ).
It came with amazing package such as car charger, 2gb micro sd, tv out cable, usb cable, ear piece with adapter, and I got MD4 speakers since I pre ordered it from starhub. Its cool ph definitely, but it hanged a few times especially when u ON accelerometer always. But those software bugs should be fixed by nokia. so, no big deal.

Not a good phone at all. You're just wasting your money on it.
