I was dissapointed by the India launch price of Iphone. But I can't by this phone also. This phone Doesn't have a touchscreen.

This phone is really good. I think its much much more desirable than iphone 3G. I think its better to buy when it gets a little cheaper.

I had the prevlage 2 compare extensively the sound Quality of a 3rd genaration iPod shuffle 2 the N95 8GB....the sound out put is the same...
iPod shuffle V.S N95 8gb
1)The volume loudness is similler
2)Audio upscaling plays badly compresed files realy well....
3)8 hrs bettery life
N95 8GB V.S iPod
1)Got 6 chanel EQ realy deep Bass
2)Plays more formats than shuffle...
3)Similer volume loudness

I am going to tell out an interesting issue among the n Series devices and probably no body will let me know the solution.
I would like to get chinese language pack to be installed on this device by using euro 1 product code. Can this be done? because as far as i know euro firmware can disable the flash status and the camera shutter sounds while asia pacific cannot.
Thanks if some experts can help me out. But i dont think it can be done.

i rang vodafone uk this morning to ask about this phone and they dont expect to have it before november/december

Surprisingly an India release has been announced (earlier than expected that's why its surprising). The company confirmed that it will release in India by early September 08. The early launch is definately in response to the iPhone3G launch in India on Aug 22

close all unused applications....by exiting normaly...insted of using the Hang up key(red button)
Refresh ur phone 1nce a day....(restart)"tern off then on"

The features look pretty decent, how does this compare with the iPhone 3G? Is it as good as it or better??
I've got the N95 at the moment im quite happy with it (barring the poor battery life and the slow-ish software at times), hopefully the N96 doesn't have any of these problems repeated?
