How sad, its not even half of... morelol! nokia has made a big mistake with n96. it is merely a repackage n95. all n95-ish, n95 wannabe or however you call it! samsung i8510 innov8 is a lot better than this! history repeats itself. and it repeats so soon. future n96 users (if there will ever be) will end up complaining about its battery, battery, battery, just like n95. while samsung i8510 innov8 enjoys up to 8 hours of talktime, n96 wouldn't even last finishing a 30-minute tv program via dvb-h. lol!

You cant call a phone a king by just by basing it on paper specs, where in the mobile world can you find such comparative procedure basing only on specs written. hahaha.. Paper specs is way different from actual specs. That if you heard that phrase yet.

Sadly Nokia N95 8Gb is still the king of mobile phones as of the moment..soon will be N96 since it will be release earlier.

Maybe Samsung, not!

I have Bad News and Good News!

Bad News, this phone will come out mid August in selected countries and Sept 2 worldwide.

The good news, this phone will only cost 480 US dollars so the market of this phone will be bigger than expected. seeing a fall in competitors sell of overhype and expensive phones.

This is not the phone there focusing into at the moment, there about to release an affordable touchscreen device called XpressMedia by 4th quarter this year and
the new flagship phone of Nokia 1st quartet
next year which is also a touchscreen device based on S60 with a wapping feature, watch for it as they going to announced it 4th quarter 2008 with element of surprise.

This moves are part of Nokia's Marketing Stategy, Releasing a high end phone with the economy of the world on downward spiral will surely be a disaster for any company.

Sony Ericsson have the C905, just for its Camera

Samsung now has i8510 INNOV8 - just for its Camera


Nokia N96 is more a Multimedia Competitor

its like the old days again

Nokia had 6230i with a 1.3MP

while the Samsung and SE both had 2MP's


Nokia might 1 step behind in terms of Camera MP's, but Nokia is about 10000 steps ahead in terms of Multimedia

N96 is good-All-Rounder

which does everything!

ive always been a loyal nokia fan but i dont understand why they cant put a xenon flash and lens cover on the n96, unbeleivable, and the newest phones have eight megapixels while the n96 is five, what are they thinking.

Nokia is the world’s biggest mobile phone producer and only few LCD manufacturers (like Sharp, TMD, EID and ST-LCD) provide screens for their phones. With its collaboration with Samsung, Nokia will have more and diversified suppliers. Contract starts mid 2007.

Hhhhmmm, this means that Samsung is just one of the supplier of Nokia's LCD screen and Sharp is there main supplier. Read the news okay!!

So that will mean i have to ask weither the Nokia phone that I will have had Samsung LCD, if it has I'm not going to buy that phone instead look for a Nokia phone that has either Sharp, TMD, EID and ST-LCD screens on them rather than Samsung in them..

The... morelimited edition of nokia n96 is being sold already at around 700 euros. samsung i8510 innov8 will start selling at that same price range. bearing in mind all the features and advantages i8510 innov8 has over n96, samsung is more worth buying. unless, you're a hardcore loyal nokia fan like se admin you can always choose the n96. samsung i8510 innov8 is currently the most feature packed mobile phone as of this moment! the n96 is only second but the distance is huge!

Its just the 8MP and DIVX that was added in innov8 and this means an added price as well, not that much of an innovation. Its more like a copy cat than being innovative.

Innovation is what Apple did not Samsung.

Now when we talk about who has the most well rounded feature of them all, thats Nokia N96. Features that were already tested; 1. camera that can produce great pictures that average people needs unless their into photography business. 2. Good Video player that average person needs, crisp and clear, with dedicated buttons. 3. MP3 player that works in perfection, with a dedicated button of course. 4. a good DVB-H receiver, now being a necessity for people loves television but on the go always. 5. well thested GPS. Nokia Maps where you dont have to pay extra cost because nokia made them. 6. N-gage games, more and more games are now release, that quality games. 7. Office Suite, for business minded people.

Samsung did not beat iPhone. Look at Omnia's UI, its very slow. You got to be dreaming when you said you have already beat Omnia, its like a blind mans opinion hahaha

Wait for the Touch UI of Nokia thou, it made an impressive debut in the Dark Knight Movie

You can say that they have this and that, blah blah!

It seem that of all the great stuff you said about them, they cant even manage to put a quality part on their devices that their LCD screen broke easily. How ironic is that? And you call that great?

There like robbing peoples money by putting low grade parts so when it brooke, customers have no choice but to have it fixed sucking more money more from customers. That's just wicked.

I lost TRUST in Samsung product and will continue to reiterate it all my life wiether you like it or not. Its difficult to undo this notion specially when you talk about TRUST

I don't want to waste anymore of my money paying Samsung devices without certainty of getting the best quality products.

SE Admin, 25 Jul 2008and they didn't I will really understimate Samsung produ... moreno mobile phone company can stand on its own. every electronics company, as mobile phone companies, buy raw materials from other companies. it is only them who assemble these materials into finished products. say for example, nokia's mass produced cameras were manufactured by toshiba, the screen is from samsung, the n95 camera optics is a carl zeiss branded which is manufactured by konica minolta, the cmos sensor is again from samsung. infact, swmsung is biggest provider of hardware materials for used by every other mobile phone and electronics corporattion. what is so fantastic about nokia is how they developed the s60 platform, how they put together all chips and technologies they bought from other companies and assemble it, and market it. that's how it goes! no company can provide itself hardware, software and os at the same time without buying from other companies except APPLE. but now even APPLE buy their touchscreen LCD from samsung and even other hardware components/chips of the iphone from other companies. samsung bought license of s60 from nokia. nokia as what i've mentioned buy their hardware from other companies as well. so i think you dont know what you're saying. samsung can make and does make high quality products. you're being too illogical because of you're bad expetience with a samsung phone. what if you happened to buy a samsung innov8 i8510 and you got to try its its high quality standard as far as technology, innovation and build are concerned, would your opinion change? browse the samsung phones here in gsmarena and see how many high tech and high quality products samsung has. nokia ia just starting with touchscreens, samsung has already beaten the iphone with thir omnia. nokia is not the only one that can make great phones. samsung can, in its own rights!

I will really understimate Samsung products because there quality is very bad.. I don't think I'll buy a single product from them, that's a lesson learned from releasing poor quality products.. Search the web, im just one of the million who experience bad quality products made by samsung.

And they don't even have their own OS to used c", Their using Symbian OS which is Nokia owned and you call that great? Call iPhone great beacuse they have their own OS

Nokia N96 is undeniably the most complete entertainment phone to date. not just a camera where you boast your Samsung have. such a poor argument u have.

Samsung cant even measure to the product support that Nokia users can get with their products. not even a quarter c",

So why so proud of Samsung with all this flaws? Its about peoples experience that they gain loyalty from customers, and certainly samsung is poor in that.
