why do you need now 8mp? Because c905 will have it? Isn't 5mp good enough for you? I hate both se and nokia fans!

nokia,5mp era is gone. w e w a n t 8 m p c a m e r a m o b i l e. and don't forget to improve video recording at pal standard:720x575,25fps,s-video output videocable with ushiden connector.

i think nokia is thinking seriously already to discontinue this model wich is already aging beside the new s.e. 8mp. it's not for the first time when nokia discontinue superb devices.maybe they want to change the case,the name code and the image sensor of n96 and launch a new 8mp mobile very soon. n96 is not logic now in the prism of 8mp

just recieved a email from E2save saying Nokia is delaying the release of the N96 till September or October,What the Hell is wrong with Nokia they are letting it fans down taking so long to release this mobile as the C905 will become available before the N96 an i think alot of people will turn there backs on waiting for the N96 an get the C905 instead so Nokia will then realise they have to speed up the release of there mobiles now days as the others are producing more better mobiles that attract more sales than the N96

its killed this Thing from No... moremore megapixels just means a bigger picture size, not quality..you could have a 10mp really bad quality picture or a 3.2mp excellent quality photo.
Anyway the N96 looks quite nice but I would prefer if it had an infraport and I'm a bit worried the battery capacity might not be enough.

its killed this Thing from No... moremore megapixels does *NOT* mean better picture quality, it just means a larger size picture!
You could have a 10m camera that takes huge trash photos, and a 3.2mp camera that takes smaller brilliant quality photos.
The N96 looks good but I am concerned about its battery capacity and lack of infraport...

I've been a nokia fan for years and like nearly all thier phones, i dont think the se c905 can be compared to this phone although it has a 8 megapixel camera. The n96 has carl zeiss optics for professional photography and a high definition display (16m colours). This phone has dual slide design. I would prefer this phone over the se c905 anyday, imagine when nokia release a phone with a 8megapixel camera, it will be too good, im waiting for it, right now im using the iphone and a se k850i which is the only se thats great.

Does this N96 also support the N-gage platform? Can I play the games I play on my N81? Can the N-gage application be installed on this and will it work like the n81?

OK guys i went to 10 or 15 pages what what do i find,That stuipd I-PHONE which came and went away like me breathing
2 mega pixel phone trying to fight a 5 mega phone and even trying to challenge 8 mega pixel phone,Look guys let me tell you some thing touch screen is way old(every I-MATE)has got it so nothing new about it
The time you type 2 MP phone and 5 MP phone its DAMN clear(1 better than 2 and 5 better than 1 and 2)so if you still fight than try taking photos and zoom a bit(who wins,def. you guys know 5 MP phone will win)

children,sony-ericsson 8mp will be released at the end of the year.nokia will launch until that date a new "n"-beast with 8mp and many more features than s.e. think,what s.e. model or samsung have ever been more technical than n 95???

I have only recently seen the specs about the processor the N96 has ("Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU"). An official information source, anyone?...
And what does this "dual" thing mean? Two processors? A dual-core processor? Can "one of the two processors" (if I can say so) be a graphics accelerator? Battery performance improved with this CPU?
A lot of questions. If someone can say what Nokia had in mind with this configuration, information is welcome.
