I'm not a fan of apple, nor nokia. as a matter of fact i'm a big fan of motorola.they invented the V series when nokia made the 5110 if you can remember it. i agree with any body says that the iphone is great but, without bluetooth and vedio call??

JK, 26 Jun 2008I am a very avid Apple fan. I absoultely love the company, ... moreJK, this is the stuff that i've been trying to tell everyone here on the forum.

There's no disagreement that the Iphone and the IPod Touch itself are brilliant pieces of technology. If i saw steve jobs, i would walk up to him and bow down to the guy myself. But then i would ask him:

"Why, Mr jobs, have you provided us with the most brilliant piece of technology that the world has seen so far this century yet exclude things that are found in everyday phones? Proper video call support? Proper MMS suppport? Proper bluetooth support? Memory card slot? Why Mr Jobs, Why? I would gladly leave this nokia behind if you had included these features but yet you have not and 90% of people, not just me are disappointed."

                'can YOU macro?'

once again. you apple fanboys need to learn to stop comparing 2 completely different technologies. Iphone is a TOUCH technology phone. Some people prefer touch. some people prefer the tactile feedback of buttons.

If your iphone is so much better then why in the world does it LACK features that are STANDARD on every other phone these days? WHY?

nick, 26 Jun 2008oh dear, oh dear o dear, this is apple fanboyism at its wor... moreI agree. It is a shame that people cannot read spec sheets or reviews or instruction manuals at all to see the difference in products. The iPhone can't even bluetooth pictures or stream music via bluetooth. I love Apple, But I would like a phone with features that I can use. In a couple of yearswhen they have the fourth version, hopefully they would have caught up with the rest of the world. Until then, my 6110 Nav and N95 8GB do all that I need.

oh dear, oh dear o dear, this is apple fanboyism at its worst.

the iphone's 2 megapixel camera is better than the n95's 5 megapixel camera?

                        hardly!

the n95 shares the same camera unit with the n82 and the n82 has been named the overall best 5 megapixel camera out there.

are you suggesting the iphones camera is the best camera you can currently buy?

you cant even focus on things!

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2008i agree with you about the battery life. however i'm a bit ... moreI haven't heard anything about a US version. There is nothing on the Nokia US site either but it is on the other sites. They most likely will. It is going to be their flagship model. We'll just have to wait and see. All I know is that we are getting it Down Under.

Mrigank Pawar, 11 Feb 2008hahahahahaha! wat a laugh, look at da battery life!!!! wa... moreThe battery capacity may not have been enlarged but due to the update of the Symbian OS 9.3and the mew S60 rel. 3.2, the battery life has been improved and will be enough to run the phone fairly effeciantlly, although, having said that, it wouldn't hurt Nokia to make the battery larger.

I am a very avid Apple fan. I absoultely love the company, but when you compare the iPhone to other brands, it is a fair bit behind. The thing I don't like is how Apple are making out that some of the features of the new iPhone a revolutionary. Such as the A-GPS. My old 6110 Nav had it over a yr ago. They have brought out a very good touchscreen which is easy to use but that is about it. For the price, I'd rather pay the extra for the N96 which i'm going to trade my N95 8gb in for when it comes out. The onlymain difference is it won't have touch screen but it can do everything the iPhone can do and a whole lot more.

watching a video over the iphone's screen is clearly not even on the same level.
and the picture * accept at night* is surprisingly very well dare i say better during the day. Really strange for such a low megapixel phone

tried the iphone and the n95 spoke with other owners as well at&t customer service agents who all agreed the iphone is pretty garbage in honestly a rip off. the n95 as well as all nseries offer more features then the iphone and the 3g will only offer a little bit more then the already iphone that exsist now. nokia keeps coming out with more stuff all the time and at least they have there own maps. we live in a age where people want all in one, iphone does'nt offer that, sure it has touchscreen and that's pretty much it; but where is the video camera, where is the mms and finally where is the uploading.
