No touch screen, same 2.8 screen as N95 8GB. What is Nokia doing here? Trying to con more $$$ from customers?

all the average pdas have 2.8 inch display, and it's touchscreen...so it wouldn't be so difficult to put one on this phone

as usual something is missing.. this time is the motion sensor and the xenon flash. i would also liked the display to be touchscreen and a qwerty keyboard

Nokia now are getting slagged down about the battery on the N96 because of the big mistake they made releasing the N95 to early before the software was ready for the N95 an thats why the N96 will not be released while about June as they will really have to test the N96 out before they release it or alot of people will be turning there backs on Nokia, why as the camera lens cover been removed as well as i had the N95-3 an had to keep my mobile inside a case all the time so no scratches an marks got put on the camera lens an that was really annoying so i bet all the people buying the N96 will really be worried about damaging the lens, but nowing Nokia after the N96 is released a couple of months later the N96i will be released with the camera lens cover an xenon flash, as the last Nokia mobiles i have had they have done that with the N73 an the N95 which is another annoying thing from Nokia

THE ONE-ABOVE-ALL. Perhaps the greatest of all upon its release.. The only naive comment is it's sway design (same as N95) and staggering price. I think I have a used-N96, any want to buy?

This could have been a better phone if it has a xenon flash and good battery life.
I love Nokia phones but have their first production on every phone for it sucks.
I believe other firmware will still fix the battery life like the N95.
What will be the use of wifi and the Tv reciever with a poor battery life.
                        What a phone?
                        I'll give it a 9.

VIRTUALLY THE GREATEST MOBILE PHONE today, packed in small piece. An all-in-one wonder, greatest features: 3.5G, GPS, TV receiver, 5 megapixel camera & game console. Extravagant.

i currently have the N95 8GB and love it. but i want to upgrade to the N96 as soon as it comes out. however, one thing that really got my attention was the fact that - at a quick glance - the camera didn't seem to have a lens cover or something to protect it. with such a high quality camera/lens, i would want it to be protected when not in use, rather than it be exposed to further the chances of scratching the lens. so IS THERE a protection? or is it permanently exposed? hmm. perhaps i will check out other pictures of this micro computer :]

any help will be greatly appreciated!!

battery life is disappointing, design is a bit out of date, 16GB of internal memory is a plus, though. but flash memory is getting cheaper, so, not a big deal. The absence of optical zoom doesn't make this model outstanding. In this sphere, Nokia has to catch up with its competitors, e.g. Samsung.
