blingerz, 12 Sep 2010i used this phone for about a year. it stuffed up on me. sc... more That doesn't mean than the phone is damaged beyond repair. I had the same problem a year ago, took the phone to a service shop and they replaiced the flex a component that makes the connection between the base plate and the display. It cost 30$ i remember. Take the phone to Nokia or a service shop in your country and maybe they will fix the problem. Good luck!

i used this phone for about a year. it stuffed up on me. screen wouldnt turn on. nokia gave me a new n96. its been about 8 months and now the screen has once again stopped working. unfortunately, this time, my warranty has expired and i am left with a dud phone for another 5 months before my contract runs out.

I bought N96 From Dubai for AED.3,200.00 on 2008 Oct.
I have come across with several phone models.. and i never experinced the hang like Nokia N96.
All the application including the Memu view is very very slow. and stuck.
Before 1 week i sold it for AED.500.00
Waste of money....

Nokia always surprised its user with its up ro date mobile phone technology. N96 has all the features which u can imagine a phone might have accept touch screen. touh screen is i think horrible piece of shit i'beeen using iphone 2G from last 1 year but the satisfaction and ease which dial pad eanbled cell phone gives touch screen can never give u. so guys don't waste ur money on touch screen cell phones they are horrible.

I have n95 and N96... I so love these phones... It's the best and certainly NOKIA's KING of all PHONES!!!

THE code is 12345 after the hard reset,,it will wipe all your n96 back to as if you have just bought it so as person says back up all your stuff ..Its good as with every computer to restart the fone everyday to clear out all this gunk thats builds up..
Note to Nokia,,please bring back this mobile with bigger proccsser and battery but keep the design the sam please,this mega smartfone has every button you can think of...Get rid of these new touchscreeen i hate them,,bring back button high power smartfones please,,please..

g.mayakrishnan, 03 Sep 2010how to clear mobile wirusHard reset. Dial *#7370# the phone will ask your your security code after you dial it the phone will shut down and restart. But this deletes also the files that you have installed (contacts,photos etc) so you have to save them first.

Its very slow mobile. The processor is very weak. Every time you'll get a memory low error. When i run opera mobile 10 with it it always give low memory error while my n82 runs it very smoothly. So never go for this phone

I hav bought n96 but when i try to set time the answer i get system error,whats wrong, also when i try to use calculator only plus and minus keys are working
