You can't compare Nokia n96 with i8510 innov , is a big difference . not only camera . n96 is very slow . I8510 is much better than n96 , is better than n97 . Only n86 is king the same.

not sure why but my n96 has yellow type og light coming throug the buttons not the number keypad .even the navi wheel.should the light be white instead of yellow in the navi wheel and buttons.is this normal or there is something wrong please help me

nokia should make a newer version of the n96.. as was the n95 8gb for the n95
maybe... they should improve the battery life in this one(A LOT) also TRY to make it a little less bulky(smaller) and MAYBE eliminate the microSD slot and do a 32gb internal memory

Not even the so called "innovate" ... morethe samsung's camera is brilliant, plus the battery is way longer! again, you're listening to people who dont update their firmware. these days, it will go for days without issues. 1200mah battery vs. 950mah battery.
the interface is also identical considering they run the SAME PLATFORM.
oh let's not forget the innov8 is twice as powerful

i used n-96 but cam was not working upto expectation level,and also not supporting the game version-3

Ive had the Nokia N96 for about 9-10 months now and from the get go ive had nothing but trouble with it! Ive had to get a new one about 3 times! and still having the same problems with it. The look of the fone it self is really nice and can hold a lot of memory but it can be sooo slow at times and does this funny noise thing when im listening to the music. Recently ive updated the software everything was fine but now my fone turns it self of and doesnt work like it used to!

The only thng the i8510 has ova the N96 is da 8mega pixel camera THATS IT! The i8510's bettery is worse! And the interface is like a blast 2 da 80's
N96 is awsome im going 2be watchng the Fifa Confederations cup on it by friday.

the more data added to the onboard memory, the slower this phone runs, other than that, this is an excellent phone (^^,)

i have sols this to go back to samsung innov8...The n96 is full to brim with everything so why i sold it..To me it was annoyingly slow but not to the point it takes minutes its maybe 6-9 seconds it feels long..Second battery life was good for 12 hrs with a lot of use and if you do a quick text now and then with some few minute fone calls and alarm every morning it could last 3 days maybe..I sold it cause battery would just disappear from 5 bars to low battery really quickly,i was on latest version..
In no way is this a bad fone but nokia could have made it top seller but the reason for the low battery was cause of space,,they did not want to make it any bigger so they lowered the proccessor to compensate and added video and audio chips to conserve energy..
screen excellent,,audio was really good,,video/cam good their was no bad bits but i am saying you have to be a bit patient with it..perhaps i am impatient??As long as you know these little quirks it good if expensive smartfone,,i love symbian non touch so whatever you choose we are all in the same camp..

N96 is at 95% similar to N95. All the functions are similar. Just 8 Gigs more and a lock keypad button in N96! Come on Nokia, time to bring some real innovation!

I recorded the light show in Hong Kong with my N96 it turned out great. the light show was at night so it was put to test, it picked up all the different coloured lasers and the sound was good, my friends felt like they were really there.

Just like My old N95 I capsized out of my canoe and went down about 20metres inm a loch I was a bit distressed but my N95 just kept working. All other mobiles should be banned viva N96. by the way if its made in china its probably a fake.
