BETTER TO GO FOR IPHONE
at better price...... better music performance........far better DESIGN and WEEIGHT,
coooool OS.
better talktime.
only lesser Display still the best .....
and camera and half memory........
nokia u r surely GOING DOWN....... dont let samsung overtake u.... i hate samsung more than nokia.
overall nokia takes a 7/10........ if available at 900$ otherwise xperia is better

This is grate and very attractive device that kicks all the other stupiid jealousy guys!
Actually is missing TV and FM transmitter, even 5800 is missing it, but maybe next models will come with it... heheh nokia, how to double the business!
Unfortunately I em not goon to be able to have anyone of this devices because to much delayed release, and there is thing is missing that is useful for everyday life, so i have intend to bay Eten Glofish V900 that will do all for my needs!
God bye Nokia, i dont need you for just browsing internet, music and camera!

I must say this is going to kill the iphone and xperia. Its a powerful smartphone with full qwerty keyboard. But, I notice that phone companies are too much focused on screen pixels, the connectivity of the phone, the design, the camera, and other functionality of a phone. They tend to forget the source of power. Its always "standard or extended battery, Li-Ion 1500 mAh". My question then, is Li-Ion battery the final frontier? or we'll just expect this fabulous phone to die out in less than an hour because we're fond of surfing the net while the mp3 is playing and/or watching videostreams in a bad reception area.

Fantastic, we finaly have a high end touch screen by Nokia, what ever other makes bring out I'm sticking with Nokia. I think they learn't that the N96 was not going to be such a great hit since it came out just shy of a year after the N95 8g which I have and there is not that much change apart from double the memory, well now I shal difinately be skipping that:-)

Fantastic, it may only have a 5mp camera but we finally have a high end touch by Nokia :-), whatever other makes bring out I only ever go for Nokia so this is great for me! hANDWRITING RECOGNITION AS WELL AND i

I was hoping that nokia showed apple how a good touchscreen phone is built, but sadly some specs arent the best in the market any more. I was expecting 8mp, Samsung has 2, and lg and se also have one. The screen should be better, a 800*480 res like the touch hd would be killer. A phone like this would be the best, i prefer Samsung innov8 (samsung innovates)

Like someone as already aluded to, all the big guns will be unveiling their next generation of PPCs and smartphones in Barcelona in Februrary, so I think by the time the N97 comes to the market, there would already be better specced phones on the horizon, bring on windows mobile 6.5 and 7.
