why always comparing any Nokia with the iPhone. Can't you see this phone is inspired by the iPhone. Infact Iphone has set the trend for this type of phone. Look around you will see presently every makes is copying on the iPhone. For instance look at HTC HD,SAMSUNG Omnia,SE Xpera,LG and now NOKIA N97. Therefore friends try to be honest and objective. May be the iPhone lacks some features but still it's the best phone available.

why? Cause of the touch screen...............
It'll take about all the two cores proccessor usage and nothing is going left for anything exept some internet
I Hope i am right to write that and for those who dont beleave plz just wait to see yourself screaming from maddness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAJOR goof-ups from Nokia:
1. The joystick/d-pad on the keyboard is on the left side. What a dumb move! Anyone who's used the E90 or the Communicators will know what I'm talking about.
2. Tiny space bar in the bottom-right corner. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Nokia?!?
3. Where's the app store?? Nokia can't expect this device to take on the might of Apple and the iPhone with something that doesn't have a dedicated app store.
4. The N97 does not seem to have the latest iteration of Nokia Maps (v3.0).
5. No mention of a dedicated graphics chip. Has Nokia killed the N95's line of successors?

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Just tell me... Why should I get an X1 or an Iphone when this is as you said is both of them... WHY should I a CONSUMER care who thought about it first... all that the COSTUMER cares about is whitch on is the BEST one... So the Iphone is the same thing but with leck of many features and qwerty but experia is the same thing but with smaller screen, not as good camera, and WM... The only phone that is known right now and has attleast one better feature is HTC Touch HD, with a 3.8 screen and 800' resolution... But this phone does not run WM (and thats a +), it has built in memory of 32GB + un to 16 on a card witch non of the phones that I know of have... And it has a qwerty... it probobly will be the most comfortable qwerty, because of the size. The only drawback is the thikness... but concidering the full qwerty the thikness is something you cant avoid...
Comapered to other phones:
IPhone-... limited functions, only 2mp camera with no video... no qwerty...
X1-smaller screen, 3.2mp camera... WM
OMNIA- smaller screen, WM, no qwerty.
HD- Bigger screen, no flash on camera, WM, no qwerty.
Its a really nice phone... Best in my opinion.. too bad I have to get a new phone attleast before the beginning of march... if not I would wait for this phone, but right now I will buy myself a HTC Touch HD.

this is a very promising phone. it would have been a greater treat if it is powered by windows mobile 6.1. i cant wait for the release and review... btw, has anyone have an idea when the SE XPERIA X1 review would come out, its been a long wait... hope it comes out soon.

awesome! c", its like my heart burst with excitement over this phone..it dished out every touchscreen phone in the market! incredible!
a worthy successor of my Nokia N82..
iPhone fans hates this phone because it has all the features they can only dream of
xPeria fans hates this because its more gorgeous, more attractive, its S60 and its cheaper than their phone when they bought it c",
omnia and innov fan hate this because it totaly dumps there phon to the sink, and its a fact that the two phones have gone cold as ice.. nobody cared about it anymore.. hahaha
well, braise yourself for more surprises by February, the nokia eseries touch and the nokia camera flagship is coming!!

Even Nokia 5800 Tube aims a bit higher than iPhone 3G.
This is supposed to be high-end phone, so it's logical to cost more. Although, iPhone 3G costs exactly 1000 EUR in Croatia without contract, so generally speaking N97 is cheaper if it will cost 700 EUR like "they" say. lol

... more6260s got 320X480 resolution which k850 just have 240X320
6260s GOT 16M color which k850 got only 256K
5130XM got 3.5MM port+dedicated music chip which all among the walkman don't have
N97 got 16M color which XPERIA ONLY HAVE 65K
you try to combine XPERIA + OMNIA to attack 5800XM
now even XPERIA + OMNIA also can't beat N97
N97 internal got 32GB, XPERIA got how many?? 32MB??

i've seen the N97 videos, be honest, iPhone touch is more proffisional, and while draging its smoother, i love nokia, and i own E90 my self,
iPhone 3G touch are more pro in terms of multitouch be honest Guys ! but it sure SUX because there is no bluetooth, + its not avialable in all countries ..
