I have mine for 5 months now. I'm using V.21.2.045 on RM-507 for 4 months and it has worked quite well for me. It does have its limitations and issues, but it seems other phones have their own issues anyway. I mainly got it for the free navigation ability on Ovi Maps and it is working well while I have been travelling in different cities. It took me about a month to configure it the way I like and to get used to it. This seems to be the same for a friend of mine with his HTC phone.
I definitely would like my N97 to be better. It is sluggish sometime, but I know to wait a few seconds depending on the app. For what I use it for, it does an adequate job.

please can someone help me out.my n97 has taking me round and i really need 2 enjoy that phone which i havnt 4 one day.the last place 1 took it 4 repair they said that there is liquid in the phone,that i need to flashe it.the flashing ware is no where 2 be found........please i really need ur help..you can mail me in my email prince1ei2001@yahoo.com.

My N97 always had a good connection to the internet, however, if i stayed on the net for any length of time, the phone would close any apps that i had open because of memory full errors. I also found that nokia software updates would only work over wifi, i didn't have wifi at home at that time, and there was no option on the phone to download updates via the internet. So if you haven't got access to a computer and a data lead, then you can't get it. I think that if nokia had made the c drive bigger so it had at least twice the ram of the n95, and improved the processor(tested it to make sure it could cope with various apps runnin at the same time), there wouldn't be the need to keep restartin the phone, and reliabilty would be much better. And i would still have my n97. For of the handset price of the handset at the time, speed and reliabilty should never have been an issue

I have been using this phone for more than one year, it is indeed great for entertainment but need some improvement on the business side as the internet connection is not that reliable. I am using Nokia Messaging Service for my email and it works well only within 3-4 hours upon restarts, so you have to restart frequently, have got several software upgrade and formats but it is not improving

I use an old n95, Why? Because it's more reliable than my n97. I got rid of my n97 cos it was rubbish. The music library was always givin me problems - corrupted. Yes the n97 has more features than the n95 BUT, they're no good if the phone wont work because of memory problems - c drive far too small. Some downloadable programs like email ONLY work on the c drive, they just wont work on the 32gb hard drive or memory card, which made the phone useless for email. Others programs and games that can be stored on the 32gb hard drive or memory card still use ram in the c drive, so the c drive gets smaller. It would have helped if there was a way of deletin stuff that came installed on the phone which i didn't use, to help make more room on the c drive. The processor is only a little bigger than what's on the n95, but it's just not up to the job on the n97. I had an n96 too which was much worse!! The processor is even smaller than the n95 and n97. Nokia went backwards after the n95. These phones were expensive new and these problems should have been taken care before bein put on sale. I don't care how flash these new nokias are, i won't buy another one!

Hello guys, i bought this phone before 1 month and 2 weeks. The phone is good i can't deny this, but i really don't like this that the phone is really slow. If the processor was at least 800 mhz it will be wonderful. But this 434 mhz processor for this phone it's really not enough.

Yeah Tanya there is a software for call blocking
its name is best blacklist, serach for it in the google and aslo for best blacklist keygen, then u can definitely bock unwanted callers

anyone can help me?You need to go to the settings, then go to phone,then select Accessories,select Tv-out, U need to change the setting as follows Tv aspect to normal Tv system to pal,Flicker filter to On,also u need a Tv out cable which will be avialable at any Nokia Store

N97, 24 Aug 2010i tried to upgrade software but it says not updated contact... morethers some problem with your internet connection,i used to get that error to so I changed my serviece provider and updated my software sucessfuly and believe me its excellent,witing for the next software update
