Guys, anyone has got the latest firmware v22.0 for N97 here in Malaysia?? I am checking daily on the website, but till now, i am not getting any info regarding the firmware. Please share if anyone has updated his/her N97 in malaysia. thanks

I have this phone and I really love him, is unbeatable seafront and highly recommend is very handy for browsing inetrnet without being burdened with the laptops and fits in my bag.

i love my nokia n97 it rocks and i jst cnt seem to get enough of it..but it always switches off but i gues it might be the network who knows why?

N97 SU**S big time.
You can get Google nexus One (the google phone) at 28000/- or you can buy Samsung Galaxy S for 29000/-
Both of them comes with 1GHZ processor and superb touchscreen experience. Both of them are sensitive CAPACITIVE touchscreen (so feather-touch will work). Also you can update both to latest Android FROYO 2.2.
You can get more than 60000 apps available in android market (90% of them is FREE )
So no need for lagging/stuttering Nokia OS experience. If you are spending 28k to 30k on mobile then don’t spent on a old mobile with seriously underclocked 434MHZ proceesor.
Go for newer mobiles.

my N97 is made in Finland... Bt i wanted to update it 4 the latest FW 22V bt when iam updating 4m the nokia software updater it shows that the latest FW is 21v .. So plz tel me hw to update it..??

For all nakia 4nes press *#0000# it wi ll tell the date t was made and other specifications. And also any nokia phone which is a dual sim is a FAKE... The new series for Dual sims is yet to be released it is known as th C-series.

i have jst bought this phone but what surprises me is that it has chinese language on most things and very low memory. do u ppl think that i was robbed? or is there chinese n97?

I dont agree that version v22 slows the N97. The best way of updating the phone is done by two steps. First cold reset it, remember to back up your stuff and then you will have a clean c drive. After that update your phone witht he new firmware. You will get more space on c drive and also more ram available. I done this two weeks and my phone rocks. I was facing the same problems with the older N73 and after the last firmware update the phone was more reliable.

this phone is shit... I bought it in November last year and had nothing but drama's....it keeps freezing.. turning itself off.. not charging.. wont assign ringtones and much more... even worse.. is optus. They have told me that they are no longer selling the N97 because of all the software problems etc. that the phone is having.. Thanks Optus.. but how about you give me another phone in the mean time!!!!!!!!!!!

a very good fon it,s memory is 2 large we can say it a pocket laptopthis is capable in usei enjoy this cell fone but i say it a mini laptop
