Robin, 27 Jun 2010Is it not a known fact that my N97 has the gliches it has b... moreI think the software do have a significant impact on the speed. Remember iphone 3g got 528MHz and Blackberry 9500 got 412 MHz but both works much faster than N97 with 434MHz(Also think of XP and Vista). But low RAM is an issue and I would recommend every one to install "RAMblow" - an application to manage the RAM. ( google it, its free)

The Nokia N97 is the worst phone EVER made....
I have one, and its slow, hangs all the time, and i have endless problems with this crap phone. I was a avid nokia fan. But now i will never buy another nokia again!! NOKIA SUX!!!!!!!!!

hello, i was wondering, i installed a coupla of apps and now my phone says its low on memory, i cant believe it- it has 32gb and is already out of memory? I guess its not using them properly. How can i install programs on my 32gb memory?

And I Know Man... morei'm sorry, but that dosen't seem right, no company will put a new and a very efficient OS in an old model, coz that will make her lose a lot of money since people will prefer to buy the old cheaper one than to buy a new expensive one with the same OS,
and if this informations are confidential, how come u r telling it to us?
plus, Nokia will not hide an information like this from the public coz this kind on news will improve it's selling, right?

The upcoming firmware upgrade you mention sounds slightly optimistic, seeing as the problem lies in the hardware (or rather, the lak there of), and not the software.
Can all the improvements you mentioned really be achieved by updating my phone's software? Firmware updates have improved my device, but I doubt further updates will transform my device into a N97-900, will it?
