gabby131, 04 Mar 2010if you want a bigger mass memory, go for n97 if you want... morewhat is the difference with the n97 mini and the original one? i like the n97 because of qwerty keypad and more mass storage but the question is, is it a nice phone? i will buy it in cebu (: i just bought my e63 last month but it seems i don't like it anymore hahaha now i want n97 it looks nice one because its touch screen also...

florian, 05 Mar 2010i have a question: i live in India and here the n97 is 3000... moredude in us nokia is sold unlocked which means u can use it wid any network provider..once u buy phone,the phone is yours....so it costs $500..
in contrast iphone 3gs comes with 2 years contract wid AT&T(network service provider in us)...every year u have to pay $99 for data...u hav to stick wid network provider for 2 years...now by simple calculation $299(first)+$99+$99=almost $500...
this kinda contract is nt present in india..every phone is sold unlocked...

When ... moreyou kidding right? nokia phones always 3g since before the network know what 3g is , it depend on the network, for example the stupid AT&T is different than the whole world 3g , so you have to order nokia phone with (US Version) next to it, other than that it been always fast on 3g even more than the iphone with Wlan connected, GET A LIFE

i think this phone is excellent if u use all of its function, if buying the phone for one thing u like about it then dont because you wil proberly regret it

florine good work the iphone is crap compared to nokia phones the 97 is 16gbs and iphone only 3 and i bet the iphone pic quaility is not that good either

i think this is an excellent ph, i now have it 8 months. the media player is fantastic i have at present 6 movies on it and least 600 songs which has not slowed it down.Also the Fm transmiter is worth the price of the phone.I AM ONE OF THE VERY HAPPY SILENT MAJORITY. Thank you Nokia

Have the phone for just over 6 months now. A bit dissapointed with it after having upgraded from the n95 8gb. The lock slider has broken off. Warrenty no longer stands as I bought the phone whilst living in the UK and I an now back in SA. 15 gigs of music on the phone and the phone has become extremly slow. Sat Nav stopped working. And finally just last night was able to download the Skype application after it was initially promised that it would come pre-installed on the phone. Yeah, just a tad dissapointed.

iPhone in U.S. is available only with AT&T contract for 2 years @30$/month. So you would end up spending the same amount in about 2 yrs time. The Nokia N97 you checked should have been an unlocked one i.e. it can be used with any provider hence the cost is high.

hi.i bought nokia n97 seven months ago.it is a powerfull device.camera is not tht good but overall its ok.i have the one in black colour and for me it work perfectly.it is my best phone after nokia e66.32 gb of memmory man u never b short of stuffs.apps r good.utube,skype,ebay,window messenger,ovistore for apps.man i think best n series mob never had any problem. 5 stars

I would have loved to buy the iphone 3gs but its too expensive so i bought the n97.
