It is a good choice phone. It is good by battery type, sound wise, photography wise, calling wise, memory wise and easily available software wise very very very.....good phone. The hanging problem is solved by the new firmware, but again you feel this problem there is a very simple solution for this every one can solve this type of problem. It is due to the free applications you install which are cracked by the users. So please be carefull of using these types of applications.
At the end i will say it is a good choice.

n97 all rou... morehey thanks... bt r u sure nokia n97 is really worth... as i have seen e72 with many people,,,,and heard tht n97 is hvng problems like it hangs,,and mainly with slider...is it so?????m just askin u.........if u can tell........tanks 1ce again

n97 all round multimedia fone more for fun.
Ive got both but e72 is easier to operate but more heavily for buisness with full office with editing and complex callenders etc but i have more fun with n97 super audio cam and good 30fps video whereas e72 is choppy 15fps and wont play old n95/n82 videos..

I used to own a Nokia E75 and it's middle button blinks when I get a message or if I have a missed call... Now I own this phone but it doesn't seem to have a notification light even if there's an option for it under Settings.

I can advise you to buy this phne. It is wrth ur money. My uncle has so a phone, he bought it from NOKIA and it lasts 4 3years.

This is a gud phne, It luks cool, But hw much is it? It might come very pricy. My uncle has so a phone, Its COOL. But i a suprised at Nokia's achievement of the N-Series

This phone takes great pictures!
Button on side broke which unlocks the phone, I new this would be the first thing to go :-(

Me and my sister got one of these each she got white and i got black,,she went to voda to get white one..The white one is still white ..After a while she wisshed she had got the black so we swapped how cool was that..The only problem was we had to retell everyone our new numbers cause they were on branded fones and we could not just swap sims..No problems but a lot more technical than our last fones the lg cookie..

Unless Nokia releases a 64GB Nokia N97-like device, I will not buy another phone. Even if it has the SYMBIAN^3 OS - I DONT CARE!!
I love this phone now its lens was replaced (B-cover).
I really do love my Nokia N97 and I dont care what people say. The Nokia logo problem at start up is now resolved - I can do the MODIFIED MEMORY CARD TRICK and that's not a problem.
Hoping to see the 64GB Nokia N98 or whatever the new name of Nokia's flagship model

This is actually a good phone. I own one. Perhaps, this is much better than the iphone. The slack is that, we gotta update the software every few months. Maybe that's why your phone's screen is black, anonymous.
