Updated to 21ver today no differance, basically its a psycological boost to customers, rest remain same even reboot stuck problem and ram 18mb on updating.
Nokia change this attitude after 1 year its same firmware issues. Price of this monster has cut 50%, no real buyer except petty. My device willing to sell 300$ no buyer.

On these updates,,its like rerwriting the whole system again to release these updates which is a seriously huge task..Something like word on your computer contains over 50,000 lines of coding at its basic level..I am starting out in this area and its so complex even just how basic computing works with lexers and parsers and tokens..I mean the chance of making mistakes A.K.A errors is high and somehow how they get conflicts sorted out must be right up there with rocket science..One thing i got sorted was how computers do several things at once bacause i say its impossible and it is..What happens is the computer switches between apps very quickly allocating each app a certain time using the proccessor hence one proccessor DOES only operate on programme at a time..Oops gone way off topic..

Neerad, 01 Feb 2010And just to clarify-- its a silver colour phone and the com... more@ Neerad,,also check your countrys laws on sale of goods..Here in uk the mobile is supposed to have a gaurantee of 2 years and unacceptable for it to fail within a reasonable amount of time tho thats debateble but it should last at least 1 year..If you got the scratches and you called me dumb its because your first posts seem to read you got your scratches after 1.5years Not 15 days..If after 15 days the casing was failing then thats a different matter..It may have been faulty to start with..

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970And just to clarify-- its a silver colour phone and the complete panel has many- many scratches and area around the keypad has lost its silver layer and white plastic is visible...
Also the LCD has got these black lines 15-20 odd- which eventually are growing. It will be completely blank very sonn. Which means the same needs to be replaced. Also the costs for the front panel and screen are quoted at Rs. 5000/-. You can get a decent phone with majority of features at the repair price...
