cohen, 27 Nov 2009I am thinking about getting a nokia N97 - i want to use it ... moreYes, you can transfer your outlook contacts to your phone. 2nd question: it really depends on your needs; regardless of what phone you get it will have slight problems because no phone is perfect [despite what iphoners might say] the N97 works well in my opinion but again that would depend on your needs and expectations for the phone. it does have bugs but my N97 works beautifully for my daily needs of massive texting, calls, email, occasionall gps and web surf

I am thinking about getting a nokia N97 - i want to use it for emails .. can i transfer my microsoft outlook addresses so i recieve them onthis phone?
I love nokia and would prefer one than a blackbery- is it really as bad as people are writing?

for those like me who are on vodafone in the uk can update their N97 to v20. i've just done the update through Nokia Ovi Suite!
the stability of the phone remains to be seen, i'll post my experience of the new version in the next few days!

i am current with Rogers and i have the phone that can get 3g. but when im in the office, i can only get edge speed. when i'm outside i get 3g. is that normal??

DO NOT buy this phone, it's the worst phone Nokia have ever released.
1) Constantly hangs and needs to be reset
2) EXTREMELY slow processor
3) Loses settings everytime you roam
4) Locks for no reason and won't unlock, needs to be reset
I could go on and on, but I won't, just to say, save your cash and buy and iPhone.

I am Using this phone for past 6 months. no problem.
Now I cannot upgrade my Firmware to 2.0 bcoz my phone code dosnt hav the latest software. I called Nokia care. They told me to wait for the release. waiting for long time still unable to update.
can anyone help me on this.

I'm so frustrated with this phone. Recently upgrade to latest software 2.0, and athough the kinetic scrolling and increased phone memory is nice, it still randomly switches over the that annyoing nokia ringtone.
Furthermore, its starting to hang more and more. Def. regret getting this phone.
