N97 features made me impressed,its like you have a mini computer in your pocket..im planning to buy it this weekend,im so much excited..

    why nokia not make all the n series phone loud speaker camera and etc standard

That's like comparing Windows Mobile and Android OS, they are not the same! I'm quite sure that the Maemo OS is much better than Symbian but that shall be proven soon...
      The only thing I think can be compared between the N97 and N900 is the camera. Probably the N900's camera is the same 5-megapixel camera that was probably used on the N97 but only with a different sensor and noise-reducing algorithms and all...
      Last but not least, N95 8GB has better sound than the N97.

              N97 rocks, i have used so many phone like SE. Samsung, Best sound quality, Photo a little Ok. 32gb plus 16gb men. Try Update to Ver20. Coool.

              But Am still waiting for N900. they said it's the best phone. when the time comes we will compare it with N97!!!!!

                    Interesting news on gsmarena about nokia planning to replace symbian os with maemo by 2012 (for n series devices only). I guess nokia could no longer ignore the shouts that symbian for touchscreen doesn't work as well as it should for high end smartphones. I bought my n97 at just the right time; i'm on a 2year contract til 2011 then plan to upgrade handset with new nseries device running on maemo! By then there should be many apps developed; the lack of apps atm for the n900 was a big turn-off for me .

                        i've upgraded my N97 to the new version but i can not install the email for exchange application,it seems like the new version does not support such sevice,can anyone help plzzz ?

People on the net appear to be able to use skyfire on their n97. As for the firmware update, i suppose your phone is locked to a carrier; you will need to wait until your carrier has the update available. Just keep checking through nokia software updater, the update will come. If you are desperate to get the update, you can hack your phone. But this voids the warranty. If you're interested in doing this, just google it - there's plenty of literature on the net about it.

                                  proxxima99, 17 Nov 2009would u tell me how to upgrade my N97 firmware to V 2.0 ??Update to latest firmware through 'Nokia Software Updater' from your pc. If you don't have it, i think you can download from official nokia website. When you connect your phone to pc via usb cable and open the updater program, it will determine your device and any updates available. It's pretty straight forward. It's advisable to do a backup first of your data just in case there's a problem.
