thai, 27 Oct 2009i cant get my internet to work, do i need more phone memory... moreWith wlan, go to settings > connectivity> wireless lan. It should scan for available networks. If it can't find your connection from your isp, tap on 'other' and manually type in your connection, as well as your password if it asks for it. Then connect to it. When you say 'pay and go' do you mean wap service from your mobile carrier? To define this, go to settings> connectivity >destinations. Under wap service define your access point. The phone should recognise the settings from your carrier. Now when you want to use web browser, go to options >settings> general. Under 'access point' choose which you want to use. Your carrier's name should appear as an option. You can also choose 'internet' (wireless lan). Hope this helps.

nokia 5800 xpress music is way BETTER than n97.
It's pocket friendly than the costly n97. It has the same features except that n97 has a separate qwerty keyboard and 5 mp which is not a problem coz nokia 5800 has qwerty keyboard (full and mini), handwriting recognition,alphanumeric key in it and 3.15 mp. They are still the same...(almost)
I think, there's no competition between the two phones coz they're made by the same company NOKIA. I'm just sharing my opinion. ciao^^

Runs Very Very smooth
Owned previously Nokia 6600,6680,n95 8gb
Will NEVER NEVER go back to nokia again.

i think v shud get together and complain to nokia .. for this faukty fone, i m sure thy will do something for us otherwise we shud claim for refund.

I see the N97 has a document viewer.Does this mean one cannot edit documents , and can one fax them withthis phone?

Hi. I bought N97 one week ago. I can't understand just one thing. There is two memories: c and e. In memorie c is only 50 mb available space and in memorie e is about 30 gb. if i want to use music player and all songs are in memorie e i can't listen them as in in the library as a music player. Should i expand memorie in the c or how to do that to work normaly? thank's for answer anybody.

i cant get my internet to work, do i need more phone memory by buying memory stick becuz i got payandgo inernet it work on my old phone but not on n97 even the wlan doesnt work when i connect to one it says something about packet unavilable

when ... morei know your problem, your camera lens are scratched, you can buy a new one and replace it your self or go to nokia care centre, it was a big design falt becuase the lens protector is rubin agaisnt the lens, i just remove it and sand it down. or you could remove it completely.
search on youtube how to remove and replace lens cover.

if your phone memory has free space, than also it shows "memory full".so just insert number *#7370# on the screen for master major reset to solve your problem permanently.

i want to know a couple of things before y buy the N97: i mainly going to use the music player and i would like to know if i upload 26 GB (6500 songs aprox.) is going to make the N97 slow. I also got 1300 photos from all my previous cellphones.

I bought N97 in USA, am now back in Nigeria and the camera phone stopped working. Nokia service center here says I have to pay for the repair only to be told today that it's not repairable. The technician says he saw something like a liquid inside the phone, I told me to get it working regardless of the cost but he says it cannot be fixed. Am confused....

its not that attracting mopre than the n96 but wen it comes to good looking its very good n beutiful but the camera no very bad
