're logged out so it cant wait in the background for an incoming call.Also if a mobile call comes in while you're on skype and you answer it your skype calls gets CUT OFF!

i regret buying this phone its very slow cpu very slow
i had to reboot few time day i will never buy any nokia again

It said skype on the iphone only works on wi fi instead of a mobile broadband as well.Where as nokia both will work,not to mention nokia secondary camera,so no mirror needed.

Hey all
I have this phone on orange and have had 3 handsets in the space of one month.
All 3 were faulty...2 of them had the same problem with the key pad lock, it just wouldnt work, it got jammed. No matter how many times you pressed it the screen remained blank/black. I had to take the battery out and start agin.
The 3rd handset also had problems with the kep pad lock on the side but this handset would freeze aswell. The screen would go white and again you would have to take the battery out.
The internet was quite slow too. But other than the above i really liked the phone.
Ive been told that i am now able to choose another/different handset. I just dont know what to go for. The HTC Hero or the Black berry Bold??? any other suggestions????

this is very expensive for what it has to offer DON'T BUY IT NOW! wait 5 months till it reach its real price or get it from the mafia

Hello all, I read all the comments, spl ppl who just said tht N97 sucks n many other problems, but pls don’t just post your comments without any reason/sense, few comments are just for fun, few are genuine, my personal experience! I have watched n read almost all the review available on net, in my personal opinion N97 is best phone, yeah it must be not the ultimate phone coz no cell phone in this world is complete, you will find few missing, but when you want to buy this gadget and if this one fulfill your need go grab it, I think N97 is really a cool phone. Also I will like to input tht few prb with this phone is coz some ppl really don’t know how to use, n then they just complain. Cmon guys it’s a NOKIA they know better then us how to stay in mobile market, so they wil never make any crap.. use your brain after reading all comments. I m just buying this phone.

sgree that 97 price will fall furthur when this is released but im not sure at release this is gonna be cheaper than 97, coz they have to make 97 sell still.

Right now it's not worth getting a N97, since it'll probably get a price cut when N900 will be released. And N900's launch price will be less than N97's current price!

Apple is investigating reports by customers across Europe that their iPhone smart phones overheated and burned them, and in some cases exploded. The company has asked people to turn in the devices in question so they can be studied.
“In all cases the glass cracked due to an external force that was applied to the iPhone,” Alan Hely, a London-based spokesman for Apple Europe, said in an e-mail. “There are no confirmed battery overheating incidents for iPhone 3GS and the number of reports we are investigating is in the single digits.”
Apple, based in Cupertino, California, has sold 26 million iPhones since introducing the product in 2007. France was one of four markets where it introduced its newest model of the multimedia mobile phone, the iPhone 3GS, this summer. Europe accounts for about a fifth of Apple’s revenue.
French Trade Minister Herve Novelli today met with Michel Coulomb, Apple’s French marketing director, in Paris about an investigation by the country’s consumer protection agency into the iPhone “implosions,” according to a statement from the Finance Ministry. A representative at the ministry declined to comment on the meeting.
The European Union asked the company 10 days ago for information on the safety of its iPhone and iPod products after reports that they overheated or exploded.
