1. Keep on doing resistive touch screen and give up capacitive screen phone
2 .keep on putting arm 11 CPU . Non gpu
3 no multitouch
4 no precise flick scroll
big challeng for nokia to catch up with apple and palm
just in love with their sensitive touch screen and precise flck scroll many teenagers fall in love with that
multitouch very nice techonology
nokia future is not bright because their software team is old and not creative, nokia should fire them

I got the phone for few days... morenow you must be misled man. apple touch is multitouch, you can streching & pinching the screen for zoomin in & out so easy. there's no way N97 users can have that convinience. I'm not iSheep. I ust hope that Nokia will release their capacitive phone soon.. or else I will go for Samsung capacitive HD phone you know which!

I waited 7 months for the N97. I got the phone for few days now. The touch screen is much better tha nthe Apple & it also give u an option of a slide keypad.
The best Nokia phone thus far !!

Amaging phone.any try to see screen in sun light. try other make phones like S.E, Omnia HD will find very deem screen but nokia seems lighting

i had this phone for 2 weeks so far
LOVE IT!
gave it to my friend to make a call.... got the phone back and the screen was scratch'd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DONT WEAR EARINGS!! LOL!!!!!!!!!
but i got it replaced...peeled the sticker off and replaced it with a mirror scratch free
its awesome!!!!!!!!!!! its literally a mirror when the backlight is turned off and you can still see everything clearly when your using it

Really really love this phone, i got one two weeks ago, problem was the camera wouldnt work, so sent that back into nokia , its expected that first batch phones have 1 or 2 bad eggs.
replacement is sooooo cool, having so much fun with the widgets, on facebook all day :D

I am using this phone for a month now. Bought it on 25th of June, used it till 28 th of June. Send it back to Nokia store for debug and firmware upgrade as it was ruthlessly slow and useless. Got it back on 7th of July with upgraded firmware. Well! Since then, this phone rocks. I never imagined that a simple firmware upgrade can do wonders for it. I literally torture this phone all the day with my usage and by God this beast is not hanging on to me nod does it lag in any way. This phone is a miracle, meant for only heavy users. I have not used my laptop since I got this one. You can load tons of applications actually written for Nokia 5800 XM but working fine on N 97. I have installed Nokia Email, Fring, Photo Browser, Opera Mini, GMaps, Message Preview and much more on it. Everything works fine. Nokia Email has simplified my life to a large extent. Opera Mini loads breezing fast pages. Over all this one rocks.

it is okay whether it is resistive or capacitive, they have pro and cons
we can get used to the keyboard easily
you must be patient, nokia will update it to make it more stablre
the real proble is that the ram is so little and the len cover design defect which scratch the carl zeiss 5MP len!:(((((((((

bought the n97, i waited forever til it finally came out, but once i got the hands on experience it wasn't everything that i hoped for. it's not bad but can be better.. what i really dislike bout the phone is the keyboard.. the keys don't feel right when you press them.. the space bar doesn't bother me but you have to press the sym button to have some keys inputted.. for ex: the (')
