GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP ..
I have an issue .. I have transferred some pics to the phone however they're kinda blur. You know in other phones the blurness thats there before the picture becomes clear right? That kinda blur .. However even after waiting for a long time the image is still blurry.
I dont believe it is the picture problem becoz in my previous 5800 the image was clear .. Whats the problem? Can anybody help me ..
Also where is the digital compass in the phone that is mentioned in the specifications?

I have had this phone for a week and I like it. The camera is quite good compared to N95 8GB. The camera is maybe better because of the picture color. It also has 300 dpi as N95 8GB which is very good!
The camcorder is a bit less better than N95 8GB but it is acceptable. The is dictionary in it. With 32 Gb is quite fine. I like the functionalities very much. The battery life is even better than N95 8GB. So you guys out there do not buy the copy of N97. Buy the real one!. So I would prefer N97 over N95 8Gb if anyone out there think that N95 8GB is better than N97.It is not. The only thing N95 8GB is better than N97 is the stereo speaker. N95 8GB can play mp3 or mp4 louder than N97. But N97 stereo speaker is quite fine compared to other mobiles. So go for N97 if you want a nokia phone!! I am not fan of Nokia. I only buy what I think is better for me and not a fanatics of any brand.Good luck.

this is supposed to be a N97 opinion thread. why are there iphone comments here?
N97 is good. all it needs is a few patches to fix some issues.
to all Iphone hippies out there. just a small upgrade in specs and it gets u to heaven. bleah!! with your Iphone 3GS, u still cant share files VIA bluetooth. so much for a "great phone". 3MP for a flagship phone... big deal.
ya.. not support for divX. neither does Iphone.
reason why N97 loads the photo gallery so much slower than the iphone, its cuz we got a freaking 5MP camera!

had this phone for 2 days now dont get me wrong im a big fan of iphone and nokia but the n97 is a fantastic phone the symbian os speed is a massive improvment on previous versions cam and video is exellent 3g download speed on nokia browser and opera is way faster than b4, and on wifi, touch screen very responsive widget menu exellent, shame nokia took so long to do this, heard about alot of bugs for this phone but ive had no probs atall, overall a top phone well worth the price tag 5 stars, ps if there was a race between the iphone and n97 overall it would be a dead heat, cus there pros and cons are about the same

Just want to share my experiences using the N97 for 2 weeks now! First I have read a lot about people saying that it's a slow phone! bacause it has a 434 MHz processor! well the real question is wether it is fast enough for it to use its jampacked features! the answer is a loud YES! It is responsive & fast enough to do all its applications! The screen is very sensitive considering that its a resistive touchscreen! in fact by using a stylus it can compete w/ the sensitivity of the iphone considering its a capacitive touch screen!People will never appreciate this phone till they use it themselves & try to use all its features! Multitasking is the best thing that this phone can offer! i can listen to music while surfing the net & while leaving my other apps open like palringo for chatting & my facebook account! it serves as my laptop now if i may say! This is just the beginning for the n97 & more apps will be created & will be available at the OVI store soon! The next firmware will also surely make this fone superior! The keyboard is not a problem & infact i find the spacebar on the right side more easy to use! it just takes a day to get used to it! HSDPA on this phone is awesome! & lastly! take the white one! it really looks good in real life! Its a good phone! Go buy yourself one if you can afford it! its worth the money!

remove the app store restriction
add fm radio. Bluettoh file transfering, loud decent speake, camera with xenon flash and camera cover, video calling, filesystem manager,

And that's supposed to be worth 90???
software. And os 85 out 100 = Symbian S60v5 hardly any applications ported to it yet (Skype... still waiting, QuickOffice... coming soon etc), convoluted menu structure of lists and icons, single tap icons to open double tap lists to open, a tiny scrollbar at the side to make navigation a pain, S60 a mess with settings all over the place, the gallery is a shambles and takes forever to open.
And you give this an 85???

i want to know if this phone is a good one. i have been reading about the features and it sounds good but they haven't realised the phone where i work yet so im not too sure whether it is reliable. i am tossing up whethter i should wait and get this phone or get the LG arena?? totally different phones but they both have really awesome features. help me
