You are talking about lance cover and back cover. Please check the following points.
1. RAM – 128 MB for N97 / 256 MB for i8910
2. CPU – ARM 11 – 434 MHZ for N97 / AMM Cortex A8 – 600 MHZ with Graphic Accelerator for i8910
3. No Div X & X Div support out of box for N 97 / Div X, X Div & RM support out of box for i8910.
4. 5MP camera for N97 / 8MP camera for i8910 – it already you have said.
I have read in forum that audio recording problem during HD recording will be shorted out very shortly.

i8910 support upto 32 GB micro SD card. So, it will be maximum 48 GB = 16 GB (on board) + 32 GB (micro SD). N 97 also 48 GB = 16 GB (micro SD) + 32 GB (on board).

But, a qwerty keyboard is better then a touch screen qwerty. Omnia HD also has no lens cover. is that more advanced then n97. Also read gsm review on omnia hd, it says the battery cover can come off easily.

hello ladies and gents just got the n 97 in white with 24k gold wow looks totaly unique rare from gold striker needs lot ov improvement and by the way never compare the power ov white looks much better than dead black imagine wearing white suit white shoes white tie and socks my god 1 in a million and and bogus typical dead black big up respect to the white n97 owners be rare and we are uniqe!!!!! and it goes nice with the carbon arte in 24k rose gold my style sharp slick smart sexy

Yeah, I think so too because if you squint your eyes the black with the steel bezel, and earpiece with the mesh grill, looks like the iPhone it was copied from.
Then you can pretend you have an iPhone.

i dont know how people can be so confused on which color to buy, bottom line is what color you like, but if it were up to me the white looks like a girls phone, black looks better in everything.
