Just Hope all the N97 fanatics this phone turns up very reliable unlike the new N86 as i have had 3-N86s in 5 days,the back of the N97 looks identical to the N86 so if the N97 like the N86 is made in CHINA it might end up a very unreliable phone from Nokia

That steel bezel around the screen is getting a bit old now after the iPhone introduced it and it appeared on the blackberry bold, Nokia E75, 3120, some other phones and now on the N97, no wonder you are getting bored with the design.

i have had the N97 for 2 days now and have already come up with problems the usb port does not work call connecting and disconnecting takes a lot of time the feather touch is really very poor nokia needs to get things in order before launching their phones..... even their service center people dont know much about the product very poor service......ask a few people before purchasing

The idea was great though, a stylish touchscreen phone with a slide out qwerty keyboard, great camera, heaps of features. Unfortunetly, with all the other smart phones with touchscreens this one kinda falls short now. I do think it's a great phone, but the interface and resistive touchscreen is a bit of a pain in the azz to be honest. I'll be keeping my iPhone!

This phone arrived today at work....
What an utter let down!!! Apple ceryainly wont be worryin it being an iphone killer.
The design of the touchscreen is awful... You have to drag the tiny lille slide bar...
When taking a pic, the image does not cover the whole screen - why minise it?
I hate saying this but Apple keep getting it right while others fail!
Oww and whoever designed the style should be shot! Why have some fat squashed thing dangle off the side of my phone.
You should beable to at least hide it away like you can on most HTC devices.
And why not design an interface where I dont need to use a poxy stylus... I have a perfectly good finger you know.

N95&N96user, 25 Jun 2009I think this N97 is the best toucscreen with a keyboard, 3.... moreNokia,E55 is the best,new cpu,600 MHZ processor,3G HSDPA 10.20Mbps,HSUPA 2.0Mbps,n95,n96 only 300++MHZ,N97 400++MHZ,3G HSDPA only 3.6Mbps,not support HSUPA. I want waiting elder e55 or e72.

I think this N97 is the best toucscreen with a keyboard, 3.5 inches and a 32GB memory... the prize is 34.000-38.000 or it's depends on the market. But, N96 is much better becuz of DVB-tv live* and I like the stainless cover(8800) the front cam of (N70 or N80), the digital cam zoom(N95), 8mega pxl(N86) not include 12megapxl SonyE cause of not Nokia.
